Depending on what type of strip clubs these guys go to, they might welcome corporal punishment.

I don't really get this sentiment...this is a pretty massive bombshell. Is it not worth mentioning?

I took issue with posting once on it... wait... oh, no one responded? Better post again on it... of course it's terrible. "Massive bombshell?" Have you seen the abuse that kids in this country get in youth sports as well? Just look at the gymnastics scandals, and that's just what was actually found. Think of the abuse the high school all star dads are dolling out to their children because they couldn't hack it at the next level in their time. Imagine what else is happening out there.

Expecting Lebron to come out and take a stance on the Uighurs being physically abused in Chinese NBA development center seems odd to me.

He already took a stand on it, and basically just "both sides" things like you just did.

It's gross to even equate those things and just shows complete ignorance as to what is going on.

Last time I checked dad's whose kids couldn't hack it weren't being exterminated.

Can I have a link to his both sides argument please and thank you.

Yes, uighers are being exterminated. I ready the tweet and it said “physical abuse” at the NBA development camp where “most athletes are uighers”. That has a pretty broad spectrum as to what exactly that means.

I don't think it's asking too much to issue a statement decrying physical abuse at an NBA sponsored academy, and asking the league to investigate the levels of abuse present and whether any of it is racially motivated.

When it's the government in general you can hide behind "culture" and lack of local knowledge. But when your organization's name is on it, you are responsible and need to step up.

Back in October when the Hong Kong/Daryl Morey stuff went up he was talking about Trump in response to it.

Pulling up from the center court logo like it's a shot from the elbow.

Could have gotten really good parlay odds on the two 8 seeds winning today.

Because NBA scouts are too biased towards American colleges and their competition. Ayton and Bagley were BEASTS when they were in college because there wasn't anyone who could match their metrics with size, speed, and skill. I watched Bagley play 3 games in Portland and defenders didn't belong in the same class as him. But when you get to the NBA, just about everyone is of that skill level and body type, if not more so. If you remember Jahlil Okafor -- he was considered a can't miss when he came out of Duke but he has certainly missed. For whatever reason, NBA scouts look at foreign players and they discount them because they don't respect the competition. There could also be the stain of how much of a bust Darko Milicic was years ago when many thought he was the best overall prospect. The Mavs with Don Nelson first and now Donnie Nelson have always mined the European avenues. The Nelsons have had pretty good success taking chances on Euros and they really hit the jackpot with Doncic.
