CSB, I Superglued my right eyebrow back onto my face after getting popped by the toe of a stick blade. Unfathomably more painful than the actual injury. lol

I am a full-blown Stephen Curry fan, and I am pulling for the Warriors to win it all. Just a fantastic, humble player.

Hawks have 17 seconds to take the last shot to win, and the best they can muster is a contested three from way downtown? Yikes.

I hated Lebron like a lot of other people when he was in Miami, but I have nothing but respect for him now. Dude averaged a triple-double in this series. A Golden State-Cleveland finals will be a lot of fun to watch

I don't know how the Cavs will survive unless Kyrie is 100%. Will be 2007 Cavs/Spurs all over again

I think the Warriors win in 5. And that's nothing against Cleveland

I'm pulling for Cleveland just so they have something they can celebrate about... then again all Oakland has is the raiders, so I guess I could cheer for them too? Either way I'm just hoping it's competitive.

I don't think anyone outside of Cleveland hated Lebron for bailing. I'm sure a lot of people thought "the decision" was tasteless...but that's on ESPN, and on ESPN for repeatedly showing clips of the stupid pep rally.

other than people who know him personally and may have problems with him, there is no one on earth who should have any issue with lebron james. if you do or did, you should go figure out what you're really mad at.

Unless we're equating rooting against miami with hating Lebron. Which to me is a totally different animal. But if there is one poster who is prone to sensationalism when stating an opinion....:pop:

Haha oh god. Over a week until the first finals game.

How stupid is the NBA for not adapting...

Yeah, that's kind of bizarre. A whole week until the NBA Finals starts?

I don't like LeBron James. The omg he loves Cleveland so much he had to come back stuff doesn't fly when I've seen him in Jacobs Field during the AlCS with a Yankees hat and jacket on (while he was a cav) and when the cowboys came to town for a game he's hanging out on their sideline head to toe in cowboys gear. I don't besmirch him for leaving at all, but this phony ass "he just loves Cleveland so much he wanted to come home" nonsense gets a thumbs down from this guy.

same thing was looking to happen for the NHL if both didnt go to game 7. its not like they can just reshuffle all prior commitments to be more accommodating

isn't the Cup final start date tentative?

the finals will be more competitive if you give both teams (mainly cleveland) extra time to heal. this break is a good thing.

I don't know that I will watch any games, but the Cleveland aspect definitely catches my interest: prodigal son n'at.

For level of play, yeah. There will be some rust though. However, for interest purposes - nah. A sweep and a 5 game win setting up a Curry-Lebron showdown, then all the momentum being squashed while everyone waits a week to watch another game. Then there's the ESPN aspect where everyone will be tired of hearing about this series on SportsCenter for an entire week before it even starts.

for competitiveness, yes. For fan interest, no. The average fan will forget about the NBA finals, especially with the Cup finals starting much sooner.

No one cares about the NHL, so that's not a factor.
