Lebron needs 36 to pass Kareem. Has OKC tonight and Milwaukee Thursday

with the amount of scoring in this game I wouldn't be surprised if Westbrook passed Kareem tonight too

He was shaky to start the game but broke the record shooting 66%. That’s solid
But now I hope the Lakers both lose this game and miss the playoffs

I think the GOAT convo between him and MJ is indistinguishable now. Lebron was better for longer but MJ had an immaculate peak
I still lean MJ because Lebron going to LA still annoys the **** out of me but I feel like it’s difficult to make a definitive argument for either

Comparing Lebron and MJ is difficult. MJ is unparalleled at his mid range game. He played a game that was much prettier to watch than lebron’s. Lebron scores a majority of his points around the rim. MJ was able to create space and create a shot. Lebron just goes through you. Lebron will go down as the most dominant player in nba history (or shaq, but 2nd to shaq if not number 1). They are different players and unique in their own right and each equally excellent. It reminds me a bit of people that used to say Sid wasn’t great because he didn’t score the beautiful goals but went to the dirty areas

I don't really recall a lot of discussions about Kareem v. MJ for number one. Now that Lebron accumulated this achievement that instantly puts him over MJ?
Nah.
Nah.

all I'll say is LeBron dragged some ass teams to the finals, and gets the losses held against him which I think is very unfair. I'd just put them at 1A and 1B, I don't see a need to declare one the goat, nor would I ever really feel confident enough in arguing one over the other. That said LeBron is still playing, if he pulls another title or two out of his ass, well..

I had the Nets-Suns game on last night, and the broadcast kept cutting to LA for the Lakers warmup. They mentioned that Kareem Abdul Jabbar had 1 3 point shot during his career...Did I hear that right? If so, that's amazing...
