Remember when NBA apologists assured us that we just needed to wait for the Finals as the payoff for their shtty postseason? Welp.

I stood to get 125 if GS won by 6-8 points, of course 5 point win. I dont bet basketball often, but I've never won on those .5-1pt swings, but I sure to get boned by them alot

My favorite thing about it is that people are saying Durant did this to guarantee himself a ring. I'm pretty sure he doesn't care, and will continue to put himself in this situation to become a legend.

A part of me does hope that everyone sees this as a fake legacy though. That'd be fun to see him get asked that every single year.

That team is the only one that handled Kobe and Shaq and Phil Jackson (the coach not the Knicks antichrist) just as a reminder

"Ended Shaq's career in LA" is a big ass checkmark

Also pic rudely excludes Tayshaun

Its cheaper for a GSW fan to fly from California to Cleveland tonight, buy tickets to the game and spend two nights at a downtown hotel than it is to get a ticket to Game 5 in wherever it is Golden State plays.

That's what people said before the 04 Finals, too.

the lakers in 04 were kobe and shaq and the octogenarians and pluggers. the gsw team this year has 4 players that would be greater than their equivalent on the other side of the ball

Nonsense. 25 year old Kobe still had the legs to shut down anyone he wanted to. He was winning all-NBA first team D back in those days, and was actually earning them, unlike later in his career when it was a lifetime achievement award.

That Pistons team had an offensive rating of 102 and nobody in their lineup shot over 40% from 3. That's not gonna be close to good enough.

I assume one one of those Jordan Bulls' teams is the best of all time. The season GS just had is clearly one of the best of all time though.

Definitely not. I think the99 spurs w Robinson and Duncan would crush them inside. And that's not to say that o think the 99 Spurs are the best team ever

More talk about 2004 basketball than 2017 basketball the day after the title was clinched.

Perfect.
