dwayne wade and dirk nowitzki are playing their last games in the nba this week. two of the best players in NBA history.
dwayne wade is probably somewhere in the 3-6 best SG in nba history behind MJ, kobe and then jerry west/AI/wade.
dirk 2nd or 3rd best PF in nba history behind duncan and the mail man.
generational talents that were amazing to watch in their prime. the nba will not look the same without them next year

Wade swapping jerseys after every game was pretty awesome. Saw one a couple weeks ago where he sought out Hawks rookie Kevin Huerter, who grew up idolizing Wade. Kid looked like he was floored by the request.

Dirk, unexpectedly, was emotional after his last game. He deserved better than one championship but in an era where you have guys hopping around everywhere chasing championships, it's awesome to see a guy spend his entire career in one place.

I remember how happy I was when Dirk won in 2011. That he did it against the Lebron-led Heat made it even better than it could have been. That was an incredible series from Dallas, their role players were unreal.

Dame Lillard had one of the biggest d**k game-winning shots I've ever seen in a playoff game. Just nuts.

That’s just a god awful shot to take, tbh.

Meh... 47 points and taking that shot in a tie game, would be hard to come off as a goat. It’s one of those, “no, no, no.... yes!” shots that understandably get excused because of the result.

In a tie game, you drive the basket... you don't settle for a prayer from nearly half court. It was a bad shot, but it worked out. Doesn't really matter, they're going to get rocked by either Houston or GS in the finals, assuming they can even get past the nuggets.

Obviously the right play is to drive to the hoop for a better shot or draw a foul. But the shot went in, so...

It's hard to argue the ball went in the net. Yes, well done, Ulf. 10 points to hufflepuff.

I'm suggesting there were better options. I don't think that's hard to argue.

We need to level set with the concept of probability. It’s mainly fractions, which scare a lot of people. So I get the hang ups.

Fractions like the last time Damian lillard pulled up for a long 3 to win a playoff game it went in so 1/1?

I think he means every shot either goes in or doesn’t, so probability is 1/2.

Not really hard to understand that lillard was feeling it and therefore the shot is fine

Dude had 50 points. 10/18 from 3 land if we're gonna talk fractions. 7/15 inside the arc.. what exactly was wrong with the shot?
