huh this is an interesting situation. The Warriors are done big and put their second unit in in garbage time. Their second unit chips the lead down to single digits. Do you keep them in or roll back to your starters?

Robert Williams of the Celtics makes me think of Ben Wallace 2.0. Not a super tall guy but god damn does he know how to protect the rim

I think there’s been as many ties/lead changes in this game as there’s been in the rest of the games combined (outside of 0-0)
phew, Heat survive

Impressive game by the Celtics. The Warriors were shooting lights out in the first half and the Celts stayed with them and then Horford went bonkers from 3

the Warriors are an easy to root for team (when they don’t have KD). The changes to the NBA style to 3 point heavy attempts that Steph helped bring about is annoying but Steph himself is delightfully fun to watch. Draymond is a shitter but he’s mostly irrelevant
They’re a clearly well run team though. Poole’s breakthrough is a cool story

Damn it! Is that goal regulation size, or what?

Apparently it was two inches higher than regulation. I know I shouldn't be impressed that professional athletes could immediately tell something was wrong but I love that they took a few shots and were like "this ain't right."

I've watched a few of the playoff games here and there, and fouls were called in earlier rounds. This finals has had very few fouls called. I don't watch basketball of any sort to know if this is normal or what actually is a foul (lol) but the refs have swallowed their whistles, at least for this series. Very NHL like tbh.

The reffing in the finals has been pretty good. It’s not so much what they do or don’t call but like every other sport it’s about consistency. The refs have called things even

it's cool to see Wiggins hit his potential. he's not gonna consistently get 20 for you but he's a hell of a defender and can be a solid complimentary scorer

I kind of enjoy knowing that the warriors might win again, because it will 100% bother Durant even more when people say the Warriors would have done it without him had he not left OKC when he did.
Basically, Durant is an emotionally soft athlete.
