I feel like it’s hard to hate Zion. He’s a good kid, crying after he got selected even though he’s known for a long time

Hopefully he doesn’t demand a trade in a few years too

Yeah, Zion seems like a great kid. Nice to see both the top two picks show real appreciation to their parents.

I already saw the Cam Johnson pick being woefully compared to the Brandon Weeden pick on the Suns board

Jesus. I had no idea Bol Bol slid all the way into the middle of the second round. NBA teams are insane.

I’m surprised Tacko didn’t get drafted. Not sure about long term but at least in the short you can bring him off the bench to not let anyone get near the rim

Durability of really tall people isn’t so great.

Yeah, I'd be very hesitant to draft someone that big. Track record over the last five years hasn't been great. Embiid is great when he is healthy, but...

Odds of Kyrie continuing his trajectory of being one of the worst people around, to the point where KD starts to think, “well crap” as he watches from his couch are at about 40%. And climbing.

I guess maybe Durant is looking for someone to give him a little shade. But Kyrie just seems like an annoying stooge who isn’t even fun to play with whatsoever.

Some very interesting changes in Philly too. Butler goes to Miami in a sign and trade for Richardson. They sign Tobias Harris to a five year max contract, and then they also sign former Celtic big man Al Horford to a long contract--he just turned 33. Redick is gone too. It seems like they are going all-in on being a big team...in a league that has so much emphasis on pace and spacing now, will be interesting to see how that combination works.

76ers need to knock it off and embrace TJ McConnell as their best chance for winning a championship.

Seems like a response to the notion that their medical staff may have ruined the rest of his career
