so Kyrie accepts the player option in Brooklyn to theoretically stay there and then today KD…requests a trade
not sure what the Heat would have to do to get him but man that would be nice

KD is not nearly as much of a heel as Kyrie

KD wants to be traded to the Heat or the Suns. They're at the top of his list. He got all shitty with Chuck because he was a bus rider at GS, and now he's going to want to be exactly that again.
It's a shame this dude is an emotional turd, he could have been the best.

Rudy Gobert is a great player, but man, four firsts?
Three are unprotected and other pieces included.

'[Wojnarowski] The Timberwolves are sending Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Walker Kessler, Jarred Vanderbilt and multiple first-round picks for Gobert, sources tell ESPN.'
'[Wojnarowski] Leandro Bolmaro is also in the deal to the Jazz, source said.'
'[Wojnarowski] Minnesota is sending its 2023, 2025 and 2027 picks unprotected and a top-5 protected 2029 pick to Utah, sources tell ESPN.'

huh
I think it makes sense. They waited a very long time for it but if there’s any number you retire league wide, it’s Russell or Jordan

Given the history of the Sixers-Celtics rivalry, the league will have a hard time making Philly recognize that Boston's 6 is on par with their 6.

I play pickup with a group of guys and there’s a newer guy I don’t really know. We started talking about Bill Russell and he was like “I don’t get the hype, I don’t even have him in my top 25”. Then we talked about how there were only 8 teams in his era and the guy was like “there were only 8 teams? he got all his championships against that?! he’s not even in my top 50 now”. And he was dead serious as he was saying this
and y’all thought my takes were bad

I think what sways me a bit is that he won like that on every level.

"But the event was marred with unfortunate circumstances stemming from unusually high temperatures in the city. The floor hadn’t been a problem early in the game or in the previous games of the day at The CrawsOver, but the gym doors were closed on this day due to a pulled fire alarm, which Crawford said in a tweet that the league had never done. That led to the floor eventually becoming slippery. At one point, Beauchamp went up to dunk and was unable to do so because of the lack of traction on the floor. Then, Holmgren pulled up lame early in the exhibition while trying to guard James in transition"
