I’m also (I know this should be in the investment thread) very bearish on Tesla. I just think he’s just too far gone to direct the company in the right direction, ie investing tons of cash in a volatile stock

i'm not sure what this means. if he's lost credibility, does it mean the decade's lead over other EV makers is going away, or that his brand no longer has the top rated customer satisfaction in the market?

he's not someone whose personality anyone should admire, but grifter? SpaceX and Tesla are already delivering on very big promises, so i'm not sure where the grift is.

Kristen Sinema is maybe one of the biggest jokes on the planet. I actually think, compared to the Cruz/Hawley opportunism, there's something worse about a feckless attention whore with no conceivable gains to be made from their obstruction, and it doesn't even align with voter preference or any ideology. She so desperately just wants to be a thing - and that's the end game.

If she and Manchin don't support the temporary removal of the filibuster to enact stimulus and voters rights act, i hope the left disowns them. they'll get Fetterman and RonJon's replacement to align with them in '22 and Manchin can go be his authentic self, and Sinema can go sell essential oils to her facebook friends.

When the first tweet about Musk/Bezos was posted my immediate thought was that given the chance, I'd much rather be Bezos.
