I was being serious, but questioning BLM in anyway, shape, or form is blasphemous. So was it bit of a smart ass way to phrase it, sure, but was only used due to the initial response from c2i which, imo, was asinine.
Your original post on the matter was serious? Okay. We really don’t have anything to discuss.

Move along folks.

Then educate me. Under what other economic structure would allow for technological innovation to be possible? Capitalism is certainly the least stifling of any others tried in human civilization so far, especially the one they push in Marxism/Communism.
The biggest funder of Karl Marx was Frederich Engels whose father owned textile factories.

This stuff is getting crazy. This has to be a federal civil rights case, right? If I was a workplace discrimination lawyer I'd be salivating.

It's a LinkedIn learning course. Which it probably shouldn't be still on there. But mandatory to watch? Color me skeptical

There isn't any evidence that it was mandatory from Coca Cola so it's not as bad

That said, I don't know how anyone can look at those images and think we're moving in the right direction as a society

Good message, bad phrasing.
Depends on what you mean by message

Everyone on earth can serve to be more empathetic, understanding, etc

The fact that traits like oppression are uniquely and innately tied to whiteness is...laughable doesn't even come close to describing it

I don't understand why the pendulum of racism has to swing so far in the other direction. Read some tweets and people defending this are saying "now you know how black people feel when they're told to be less black". I absolutely understand what they're saying but forcing white people to beg for forgiveness for commiting the original sin of being white is only going to further divide people

Empathy is a two way street. I know a lot of rightists are in bad faith when they claim white people are being oppressed and genocided; that too is enraging and in an obvious. But telling white people to not be white as an answer in racism is like trying to put out a grease fire with water. It's just going to make things worse

Taking that as “forcing white people to beg for forgiveness” is taking it the wrong way, IMO. If you’re white, in this country, you’re generally better off. And I don’t think there’s much debate that society makes it out that being white is better. So being aware of it and certain advantages along with the obvious things that are stated in the third slide... nothing really wrong with that.

Yeah, if you substitute "bias" for "white" in that material it cools off pretty well. That's what I meant by good message.
