From what I can tell, if convicted under the statute I posted, the maximum sentence would be 20 years plus a $250,000 fine. It is also a felony charge, which would remove their rights to possess guns/ammo.

Agree with Morkle that it should probably be more. Maybe not execution, but a max of life imprisonment seems reasonable.

It's a bit of a catch-22 for Trump and his cronies. Either, a peaceful demonstration was incited to attack the capitol by the speakers at the rally (Trump, his kids, Rudy, a congressmen, and not sure who else). Or Trump supporters came to Washington with the express intent of ransacking the capitol building.

What, to me, seems to be the truth, is that both of these damning cases are true. Far right folks came with the express intent of attacking congress, and others came for the lulz, listened to the rally, and then joined the mob to support Trump.

He is and always will my President..I may not have been around for a few I was born when Nixon was impeached but resigned, I was to young for Regan but heard he was great when he was President. Then came trouble all the way up until our President was elected from 2016 until now he was the best..He made this country better again and now with Not my President Biden and Hareis taking over this country will be destroyed again

My guess is the USA peaks again by end of November. Europe is already slowing down.

Are they? I don't read much covid news because, short of doing what I can for me and my own and wearing a mask, I can't change it. Last I heard (on this board and not even a week ago) someone said Europe was blowing up. Good news that they are coming back down.
