I'm late to this discussion, but according to local realtors, the market is Somerset (of all places, ha) is booming because people are moving out of cities and coming to small towns. I'm sure they'll regret that when they realize what a festering puddle of sadness Somerset is, but apparently it's a huge seller's market right now and homes are selling within days of being listed, whereas a year ago, you couldn't pay anyone with a brain to move here.they are mostly wanting to get away from the dense urban environment. COVID certainly sparked that.
