Nobody likes me, but it's the Party's fault.

I do find it annoying is that any time a woman or a person of color is voted off the island, there's an excuse. Maybe they just had terrible policies, maybe they're not good in front of the camera. It's OK to just not win.

Nobody likes me, it must be because of gender norms.

If we're talking top tier, you're down to Joe, Liz, Bernie, & Pete. So the question is why was Pete the addition and not another woman?
Because Kamala failed to stand out, and Amy is Hillary without the baggage. Marrianne was a nut case, and Tulsi is nearly a Republican.

That's sad....places like Poland and the Czech Republic have had virtually no terror attacks going back a lot of years, probably in large part to how strict their immigration measures are vs. places like France. Can't imagine the motive for something as senseless as this, but you just don't hear about this kind of stuff in those countries very often. I kind of doubt it's garden-variety terrorism but who knows.
Absolutely nothing to do with terrorism or immigration. Just a guy suffering from hypochondriac depression (TIL that's apparently a diagnosis). He was convinced that he had cancer and was angry that nobody wanted to treat him for that. So he went to a waiting room and killed a bunch of patients...

Agree. Beto, despite his endless faults, entered the campaign with more buzz than just about anyone else yet he crashed and burned hard even while being a privileged white male. It happens.

The DNC seems like a trash organization doing everything it can to make the choice as opposed to it's constituents.
The field is still too large and needs to be whittled down.

The Democrats voted for Obama and then Hillary so I think we can put to bed the sexism/racism explanations. Booker is a whiner.

I think this dynamic that Booker is alluding to is a function of pundit brain. This all stems from the theory of "electability" in choosing the candidate. The primary focus in this election is to beat Trump, thus aside from the Bernie support, the majority of democrats are tasked with picking a candidate out of the sack, the only exceptionally redeeming quality in any of these candidates is that they aren't Donald Trump. So the only thing people are thinking about is "which candidate is the best to take on Trump", the media is also operating under this impression, but they are reporting on it without really identifying what they are observing. In an electabilty debate, Biden beats all the moderates, and that's because he is the most non-offensive candidate to the democrats that the party is trying to win back in PA, WI and MI.

I also just don't know who Booker is complaining about, Biden was the front runner coming in, and while he routinely does stupid **** on the campaign trail, he's maintained that position in the polls. It's not like its the party is conducting a poll inside the DNC and indicating that as the criteria for choosing a candidate. Is he blaming the media? I mean, sure, insert problem = media's fault.

Harris, Booker and Klobacher haven't done anything to convince anyone that they are more electable than Biden.

Harris has been a fixture of my daily news feed for roughly a decade, as a statewide figure. She was regarded as a potential juggernaut for national politics, but I think two factors mainly contributed to her campaign's demise: 1) That it existed at all (she needed more cooking time as a Senator imo, this run was premature.); and 2) everyone points to her bussing clapback on Biden in the one debate as her high point, but I think it was actually her nadir as a candidate.... from that moment on, it was a steady and uninterruptible march downwards in polling and fundraising. I've seen some commentary that it was a negative reaction to the circular firing line of a candidate talking trash about someone who, whether he's your guy or not, is highly regarded in the party.

Booker has always been milquetoast. He seems like a bright guy, sure, but he also seems insubstantial.

Klobuchar is called Klobuchar. That's just about the most remarkable thing about her.

Tulsi was caller number 12 and won the chance to come into the studio, and when she got on-mic was like, "..............Uh..............Hi......Also, Assad is misunderstood."

Now that's the lamest defense I've heard. I wish they'd start saying those aren't even transcripts, they were memos, like the report. Nobody has even seen the "full" transcript.

Barr did an interview with NBC News to assert his disagreement with the conclusions in the IG report. Did Holder and Loretta Lynch do these interviews in the past? I don't remember an AG doing things like this before.

Oh yes, the U.N. Human Rights Council.

With such illustrious members as Libya, Sudan, Venezuela, and Qatar who could imagine a more noble group of people to judge others Human Rights violations.
