TL posted that to get a chain reaction going, right? TL didn't post that because he is serious, right?
I think people should be concerned about the DOJ's political subservience. I am curious to see if the retorts to "TDS" have changed.

They have not, same mindless drivel.
Let's get back to the days when the AG is the self proclaimed President's wingman. But I'm sure thats different just 'cuz.

What did Holder do that you find comparable to Barr in terms of interfering with investigations and sentencing?

Nothing. It was the scandal free administration.

It’s not meant to be a joke question. I’m actually curious about what previous AGs have done that are comparable to Barr.

I’m fairly certain John Mitchell did a lot worse than what Barr has done.

Yes, he did. Didn’t end well for him. I should have specified Holder since that’s who NP specified.

Endless dictator and nazi germany comparisons perfectly fine. Compare shady actors from this administration to the last and here come the red challenge flags.

Ok. So I guess you can’t or don’t want to say why Holder is on par with Barr in terms of interference.

Am I missing something or is this most recent shttstorm because they're challenging the length of Stone's sentence? That's the newest threat to our democracy and justice system?? The guy who lead the entire investigation couldn't even answer the simplest questions about his own report, but questioning anything about that sham is just right wing talking points from fox new. s

Yes, the president apparently having sentencing guidelines adjusted for his friends is a challenge to the justice system.

The Mueller report being a waste and a sham is one of the more egregious examples of trump supporters accepting whatever he says.

The sham mueller report

It was literally a non stop news story every single day for 2 years and barely mentioned again once it was completed. Again, the guy in charge of the thing sounded like he didn't even read it. It didn't accomplish anything that anyone pinned their hopes and dreams on. The guy it was supposed to bring down is probably going to win reelection.

Imagine believing things occur in a vacuum and context doesn't exist.

What a world that would be to live in.

Just because the media stopped caring about it doesn’t mean it wasn’t relevant. It lead to many charges, many indictments, many guilty pleas and five prison sentences. But hey, our ADD society doesn’t talk about it anymore, so it was a sham.

Yes, the president apparently having sentencing guidelines adjusted for his friends is a challenge to the justice system.
And when the friend is in jail for lying to cover up action that would have been politically damaging to the president.

Kind of reflects how fruitless it is to take these arguments seriously.

Well just the same I couldn't imagine living in the world that some of you have every day for years now. I'm embarrassed just enough because I saw Troy's stupid article and let it sidetrack me into this all morning. Having my everyday consumed by this guy is just, I dunno.

Plus the assets taken from Manafort for his crimes more than paid for the entire investigation, but no one mentions that.

It's been well established that he tweets too much and too stupidly. Most of us have moved on several years ago tho.
