A New Hampshire man has been arrested after slapping a 15-year-old Trump supporter during the state’s primary, police said.

Patrick Bradley, 34, was leaving a polling place in the southeast New Hampshire town of Windham when he passed a campaign tent for President Trump. Windham police said in a news release that he hit the teenager, who was volunteering at the tent and wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, across the face.

When two adult Trump supporters tried to intervene, Bradley attacked them, too, police said. He is also accused of attempting to knock over the tent.

A woman who said she is the teen’s mother told Fox News that her son was “pretty traumatized” by the violence.

President Trump, in contradiction to previous claims, told Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera Thursday that he sent Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine and he was “not at all” sorry for it.

"Was it strange to send Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine, your personal lawyer? Are you sorry you did that?" Geraldo asked the president in an interview on Fox News Radio affiliate WTAM.

“Not at all,” Trump said, praising Giuliani as a “great crime fighter.”

“Here’s my choice: I deal with the [James] Comeys of the world, or I deal with it another way,” Trump said of using his personal lawyer to fight alleged corruption by a political opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden. He explained he was given a “very bad taste” of the intelligence community, so he turned to Giuliani.

“So when you tell me, why did I use Rudy?” Trump continued. “Number one, he was the best prosecutor, you know, one of the very best prosecutors, and the best mayor.”

“But also, other presidents had them,” Trump said. “FDR had a lawyer who was practically, you know, totally involved with government. [Dwight D.] Eisenhower had a lawyer, they all had lawyers. Bill Clinton had a lawyer.”

In November 2019, Trump tried to distance himself from his personal attorney’s efforts in Ukraine to urge the government there to open investigations into the Biden family. At the time, the president's conduct in Ukraine was at the height of its scrutiny as the House carried out its impeachment inquiry.

"Well, you have to ask that to Rudy, but Rudy, I don't, I don't even know," Trump had said in an interview with Bill O’Reilly.
"I know he was going to go to Ukraine, and I think he canceled a trip," the president continued. "But, you know, Rudy has other clients, other than me. I'm one person."

Trump denied he had ever directed Giuliani to go to Ukraine on his behalf. Trump suggested he did not have firsthand knowledge of Giuliani’s work in Ukraine, but had “heard” of it or “read that someplace.”

"He's done a lot of work in Ukraine over the years, and I think -- I mean that's what I heard. I might have even read that someplace, but he's a good man and he's an honorable guy and he's a great crime fighter, corruption fighter," Trump said in the interview, as reported by CBS News.

I'm gently poking fun at Freddy for constantly talking about the strange new respect that, for example, the commies on MSNBC have when someone on the right says something bad about Trump, when everyone knows that its nothing more than standard media opportunism to juice a story and give the TDS audience some red meat. I just find it funny that a very well known tactic in politics: find someone on "their team" that will say something bad about them is somehow misconstrued as an entire political party and all of its constituents (yes, hyperbole, I know) having a "strange new respect" for that person. I'm certainly not denying that tactic exists.

MSNBC sends out Nicole Wallace and Joe Scarbarough to complain about Trump for like 6 hours every day. The DC political press has so fully embraced the notion of "media bias" that they they have to platform all these GOP establishment hacks to complain about Trump, as though any other normal person's criticism is invalid because they're biased.

I don't believe Bernie will win a general election, but it is intriguing. You think the last four years of Trump have been chaotic? Sanders has a track record for not playing ball at all with fellow Democrats, and most certainly not the opposition. I was reading a long column the other day, which basically just went into how poor Sanders has actually been at building coalitions and getting legislation passed. His rhetoric appeals to a lot of people, but he is despised by a sizable chunk of Democratic politicians.

From a personal perspective, my wife and I have busted our ass for the last 10-12 years working our way up in our careers, and we are fortunate that we have both worked hard and gotten to the lifestyle we have today. We are not the 1% by any means, but we are solidly upper middle-class, and my wife's benefits plan is solid through her employer of 12 years. If Sanders were somehow able to get all of his proposals passed (unlikely), it would really, really suck for us. I'm sure our taxes would go through the roof, we would probably lose the benefits we have (or they would be scaled back), etc. We already lose 30% of our paycheck every pay cycle, I would prefer it to not be 50% or more.

Sanders votes with Democrats 95% of the time. The average among Democratic Senators is 80%.

Re not working with the Opposition: thats the point. He's clear-eyed about what Mitch McConnell is. No treacly nonsense to make yourself feel better about the august chamber.

From a personal perspective, my wife and I have busted our ass for the last 10-12 years working our way up in our careers, and we are fortunate that we have both worked hard and gotten to the lifestyle we have today. We are not the 1% by any means, but we are solidly upper middle-class, and my wife's benefits plan is solid through her employer of 12 years. If Sanders were somehow able to get all of his proposals passed (unlikely), it would really, really suck for us. I'm sure our taxes would go through the roof, we would probably lose the benefits we have (or they would be scaled back), etc. We already lose 30% of our paycheck every pay cycle, I would prefer it to not be 50% or more.

The only things that could've happened that would've shown Hack Barr was genuine about his comments yesterday, vis-à-vis Trump interfering with his job is if he had rescinded the revised sentencing recommendation for Stone and stuck with the one called for in the standard guidelines, or he would've issued a directive to all US Attorneys that the sentencing guidelines for perjury and witness tampering/intimidation are overly harsh and that the revised recommendations in the Stone case are now the standard and every pending case before the federal bench should proceed with that in mind.
