Face to face with what looks an awful lot like the rise of American fascism
even though time is running out for American democracy
A pretty solid analysis of the problems facing the current Democratic Party, and then you have two alarmist, dumb lines like that.

The democrats problem isn’t alarmists, I believe it is their lack of spine or knowing what the hell to do when they gain power. They fight and fight to get power, then once they get it...

I’m against bailouts, but That’s pretty deceiving. That’s what it cost at the end of it after they were paid back some of the money.

Are the farmers going to pay back that bailout money? No. No they're not.

At the same token, the only reason this bailout is even necessary is because of Trump's boneheaded trade policies completely backfiring.

Haven't we been "bailing out" farmers since the Depression effectively...?

Not sure what benefit there is in conflating price subsidies with this sort of government intervention.

in that they won't be called "animals" in this thread or that none of them will be killed by excessive force from police?

They are animals and should be arrested for shutting down major highways.

This is what white privilege looks like.

The climate gently weeped while all of those vehicles idled.

Big oil thanks them for their service.

They are animals
So are you. So are we all...
and should be arrested for shutting down major highways.
Yes, that's kinda the idea behind civil disobedience. Not their fault that the police aren't...

In that they are free, based on their privilege, to not be at work on a Monday morning, blocking people who have to work, from getting to work.

Not to mention the massive amounts of fossil fuels and other climate changing activities they are contributing to by their actions.

But I know, "they care" so their imbecility can be excused.
