The corruption just never stops. It’s insane at this point.

While I agree, I also think we are at the point that it is laughable to even think it's going to end and there will be consequences. Sure, everyone knows what it going on, but it just doesn't matter anymore. There will be a fall guy here and there, but that's it. Nothing will change unless he's voted out in 2020 and if not, plan on 4 more years of nothing matters.

Criminals don’t stop doing crime until they’re stopped. No one is stopping trump, so he’ll keep going. Not surprising at all.

It sounds good so far. Pence doesn't really stick his neck out for BS, we'll see how the others play.

So Sondland says they were directed to work with Guiliani on the Ukraine stuff. That's gotta sufficiently screw Guiliani right?
Are you talking Logan act or campaign finance?

I don’t think Logan act is being violated if he was authorized to deal with foreign countries.

Campaign finance? That’s iffy with “things of value”.
By all accounts, he wasn't authorized though. Doesn't the Senate/Congress have to do that?
There was one former federal prosecutor on the TeeVee last night who mentioned that if Rudy is acting as the President's personal attorney in these matters - which they both mention nearly every time they open their mouths - then RG is sort of mired in an ethical tar pit. If, say, anything he does with relation to a foreign government obo the State Department (as he claims he's done) conflicts in any way with his client's interest, he has to defer to his client's interests. His job as a lawyer might call for him to literally put Trump ahead of the US.

sounds good for who? I guess its good that Turkey gets what they wanted without having to kill people to get it? And we get to pat our fearless leader on the back for helping solve a crisis that he helped create in the first place?

Good job, you got your 120 hours off the news cycle of being responsible for one of the dumbest things to happen in your presidency

Starting from when they announced the pull-out, it's good for the civilians who get to live.

More Randstanding, gotta sell some books.

Paul blocks Senate vote on House-passed Syria resolution
The resolution passed the House on Wednesday by a wide margin in 354-60 vote. All 60 votes against the resolution came from Republicans.

Under Senate rules any one senator can try to set up a vote on a bill. But because that requires unanimous consent, any one senator can block it.

Paul, a libertarian-leaning GOP senator, objected to Schumer's request for a vote, arguing that he was trying to sidestep the Constitution.

I was trying to find a clip of Trump calling the president of Italy "President Mozzarella" but I couldn't find it, so it must not be real. I wanted to believe so badly.

I think it's funnier that Melania, Ivanka, and Jared are in it.
