Probably just going to show that he doesn't pay taxes because of that billion dollar loss he claimed

I still don't care about this...I don't think there's anything on there that I'd care about...like, maybe if it said he made several charitable donations to that pedophile's island or whatever...all right, sure, that might indicate some culpability...but how his stupid finances work against our stupider tax code...? Go screw.
Politics And Current Events
The only reason I'm even slightly curious is because of how hard he fought against releasing them.

I don't really care, I doubt much comes of it. But it brings me a little joy just knowing how badly he didn't want this to happen

There's no level of conduct that could potentially be exposed that would be be as awful as what he's done publicly over the years.
So right, it's going to get a "BREAKING" in the tweet or news article, but it's about as inconsequential an item imaginable.

What nocera and Ulf said.

His all-but-inevitable 3am meltdown over any public leaks will be more revelatory than the taxes themselves.

The fedgov asked if they could keep moving forward with the loan-forgiveness stuff while the suit was pending. The Fifth Circuit said nope. The injunction against the program ordered by the District Court will remain in place while the appeals court considers the case, which even on an expedited basis will take months. At a minimum, everyone should forget about getting any loan forgiveness any time soon.

I never could figure out what exactly everyone was expecting to find in those tax returns, especially his personal tax return. News flash: there is no line/form that says MONEY OWED TO RUSSIANS---->enter HERE

Midterms are over so I doubt they care much

I thought the only thing they could check was what he reported income versus what he told banks his income or whatever was to make him look worse than he was?I never could figure out what exactly everyone was expecting to find in those tax returns, especially his personal tax return. I have no idea - the only thing I'm happy about is that Trump lost again in court. Other than that, like 1/6 nothing is coming down the pipeline.

It's what the others said. I want to see what he fought so hard to hide. Nothing more, nothing less.

I find it hard to believe that even Deutche bank would waive getting Trump's financial statements/tax filings. And, if the only way they'd be waiving that would be for loans that are relying on other forms of repayment.I thought the only thing they could check was what he reported income versus what he told banks his income or whatever was to make him look worse than he was?I never could figure out what exactly everyone was expecting to find in those tax returns, especially his personal tax return. I think the false statements they are going after him for relate to the various building valuations he's using. On one hand, he'd be inflating the value on of the properties on wealth statements to secure financing, and then be filing lawsuits against the government arguing for lower valuations for tax/insurance purposes.
The thing with the Trumps is always degree of malfeasance. This practice seems pretty normal to most of us, we are always going to be fighting to get our property tax bills down. It's likely that he's just so egregious about everything and always toeing that line of illegality/ethical/appropriate. Kind of t like that 900mm loss he took on his taxes, it was like the largest loss ever.

Yea, like the Pirates - I've lost any real faith that anything positive will be coming out of any of that. There's nothing there, no need to keep hoping for the future.

Do you guys think Trumps tax returns are on Hunter Biden's laptop?
Politics And Current Events
No, because Hunter Biden didn't hold any public office, let alone the Presidency.

I haven’t read anything on the matter, so forgive my ignorance… on what basis do they want his tax returns? Like, they had to tell the court a reason, right? What was the reason?
Politics And Current Events
Every President since Nixon has released their tax returns.
https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/22/politics ... index.htmlDouglas Letter, a lawyer for the House, however, urged the court to reject Trump’s bid to delay the subpoena noting that the House had spent “more than three years” conducting oversight related to whether the IRS can effectively and impartially apply federal tax laws to presidents.
Letter said that Trump’s term in office “amplified” such concerns.“Mr. Trump owned a complex web of businesses, engaged in business activities internationally, had a history of aggressive tax avoidance (as he has boasted), claimed to be under ‘continuous audit’ since before his Presidency, and repeatedly denounced IRS audits of him as ‘unfair,’” Letter wrote.

I mean I guess so. I don’t get how something that is so obviously advantageous to so many would be met with such resistance. I guess beyond complete and utter selfishness
