Hack Barr protected Turkey bank from prosecution to appease Erdogan.

Hack Barr. Hacking it up.
This is pretty crazy, and also this appears to be the anecdote from Bolton’s book where he says he told Barr that trump was putting his commercial interests ahead of the country’s.

I know that the whole basis for tds is supposed to be the libs are triggered by the tweets and the coarse demeanor, but I feel like the whole “incapable of putting aside personal interest” was laid out during the election.

If I were “triggered” by anything, it would be the anti-anti trump response to this. And this to goes back to the whole “government is bad” tenet held by conservatives. It is my impression that holding the tenet creates the permission structure for this type of brazen corruption. The both sides bs.

Most of your responses blame others for the mess this countries political system is in. Their is plenty of blame to go around for everyone.

Lol, I should really learn to take more responsibility for this leadership crisis. I’ll talk to my therapist about it.

Nice deflection. You constantly blame every other segment of population if they don’t share your viewpoints. I wasn’t saying you personally need to take blame.

I would be very curious to hear what she was asked during jury selection. Would not be surprised if she committed perjury.

It's amazing that Stone's defense didn't dig up this info pre-trial. Talk about dropping the ball.

I wouldn't be surprised, especially since they knew she was a D and had run for congress.

So best case for stone would be a mistrial no? And for incompetent counsel?

A slightly more nuanced whattaboutism. Darwinism at work.

So are we defending Stone for working with Russia, or due process, or both? I have a real hard time understanding why someone would want to support Stone, from either party.

"People who I don't like shouldn't get a fair trial"

Same people saying Trump is a fascist.

So if he got a “fair” trail. Which side of the aisle do you fall on. Innocent or guilty?

I’d a retrial is needed then fine, he’s due that, but we’re dangerously close to letting a guy get away with damning stuff and some people support that as well.

I also feel the “but fascism” thing is hilarious because there’s been arguments of “well it’s ok because our side won with interference.” That feels just as bad.
