I will admit to being lazy and indolent when it comes to many things. But I'm not so lazy that I can't bother to measure out some laundry detergent. And I'm also cheap, and the per-load costs for those laundry pods (and the dishwasher pods) are vastly more than regular detergent.

A certain segment of society uses Tide as currency. Pods are easier to handle.

Does anyone really think Mo'nique is even in the same stratosphere as Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, and (yes, as much as I can't stand her) Amy Schumer?

Her accusation of gender and color bias is based on much more famous celebrities, specifically a woman and two black guys, being offered more money?

Guaranteed she's funnier than Amy shumar though and why even her name in that list, hell Chapelle is good, but is he even up there with Rock? (From a stand up point of view)

Chappelle is amazing. The Chappelle Show might be the best comedy show of the past 25 years

You are correct, I'm talking only about stand up shows.

I for some reason remember on The Soup about 5 years ago Joel McHale kept calling her "Moe Apostrophe Neek" and that's how I say her name every time I see it from then on. Not that I see it much

This is true, but in my opinion there is a a big drop off after that. Please don't take it as me saying Chapelle is no good, because he's awesome, I just thought a lot of his stand up stuff has been hit or miss since.

Well... Killin them softly was 2000, then Chapelle show, and then he got run out of town.

I thought it was much earlier than that, wow. I couldn't get through his last few Netflix acts. Martin Lawrence you so crazy on the other hand...

He's a completely different man now than he was then, so if you came into them expecting 2000 Dave Chapelle, you'll be disappointed.

Now back to the politics! SCHUMER SHUTDOWN? MORE LIKE TRUMP COVFEFE, AMIRITE?

I will give credit. This thread does a good job of mimicking real Congress. Bunch of name calling followed by off tangent subjects.

Wrong thread, but Joel McHale is relaunching The Soup on Netflix this year. That should be interesting.

I hope that they don't substitute quality for the ability to now say dirty words. Far too many shows that have gone the Netflix and Amazon route focus too much on the new found freedom and not enough on just doing a good show.
