It was more mind-blowing to me that Biden ran in the primary against Michael freaking Dukakis, 32 years prior to the upcoming election.

It's amazing to me how these epic, huge, history-shaping battles so often come down to the actions and bravery of such a small handful of people.

Overlord possibly would have failed if a handful of Rangers at Pointe du Hoc hadn't scrambled up sheer cliffs 100' high to silence the guns raining death down on Omaha Beach with impunity.
