There can be only one pissbaby, and we all know who that is.
Abbott and DeSantis have been anointed. I'm sorry but it's out of your hands.

That's true. He joined 66 other piss baby politicians who voted against providing hurricane relief. It passed the house 354-67.

All 67 nay votes for Sandy relief were Republicans:

And? Like.... didn't Rand Paul literally do this exact same thing with the Kentucky flooding?

It's shitty and hypocritical no matter who does it and when. It's like my republican FiL complaining about hand outs and welfare while he collects disability.

It’s definitely a thing republican politicians do. I’m sure a whole bunch of tx republicans matched that fact patter with harvey

Indeed. The point is it's not like... a new concept that a politician goes against their vote when it's beneficial to them...

It is a new concept that we find gotchas on ronny D at any opportunity. This is a weak one though... note that the bill PASSED. Is he not supposed to accept the benefit because he didn't agree with it?

That would be like getting laid off but not taking unemployment benefits because you don't agree with how the system is run... (which I have a friend who actually did that lol)

No. As Troy said, it just continues a long line of Republicans refusing to help anyone else in need until it happens to them.

After Kentucky devastation, critics seize on Rand Paul’s record opposing disaster bills

He also introduced a bill to divert unspent COVID relief money to KY for flood aid.

I'm happy to bag on any politician regardless of their stripe when they exhibit this degree of rank hypocrisy. But there is one in particular who has made it something of a personal branding exercise on the issue of disaster relief.

Ronny D put his fat head out there to be a national figure and has been trolling the libs for a few years now. How many state governors can you name? Him and Abbot want to be national figures and have made controversy and owning the libs their mantra.

It's kind of like MTG asking for privacy following her divorce. The same MTG that harassed school shooting survivors and called them paid actors? Yeah, sure, now you want others to respect your privacy.

I've never heard of Izzy Cook. Apparently she's 16? Regardless, that's a deserved mocking there.

The NY Post would appreciate it if you referred to her as "eco-warrior Izzy Cook". Just trying to capture the spirit of the thing.
