It "seems" to me that either through incompetence or malice, the Trump admin violated a variety of statutes when it made way to Mara-a-Lago with boxes full of official records. I am going to guess that the entity responsible for overseeing and archiving those records made attempts to retrieve those items. Now, are we going to assume that the National Archives and the DOJ just up and resorted to raiding Trump's Florida residence, or that Trump refused to fully cooperate and they were forced to take such action to review and retrieve those items?

I am going to guess that Trump's team was well aware of what was going to happen and wanted it to happen in this way.

I think those records (the affidavit, the actual warrant, and the seizure manifest) are sealed by the court until they're entered as evidence in a trial, or something like that.I don't know if the subject of the documents can make them public unilaterally, but I'm pretty sure government can't.
