Break the law? I guess I haven’t read anywhere that it’s suspected to be any more than Russian bot farms amplifying him, which was already pretty well suspected.
I haven’t followed this closely but isn’t the information that you are saying he should have released himself from a classified intelligence briefing? People of course leak this stuff all the time but to affirmatively suggest he should do it to help his campaign is...odd to me (assuming I don’t just have my facts all wrong here).

The center will not hold.
Met a doctor last night who is part of a practice that does not work with insurance companies. The care is purchased directly by employers and provide all the essential care. He said something about contracting out for specialty services. But essentially removing insurance from things it should not be involved in. Insurance is meant to mitigate the risk of catastrophe, I think this is what we all understand, but somehow they instead just inserted themselves as a middle man between patient and doctor.

The center won’t hold here. This whole thing with Bernie and the culinary union was supposed to be a problem for him ok Nevada, but seems like the union members were for Bernie anyway.

I think the whole “let’s not rock the healthcare boat” is death for a democratic candidate. That might be better in the general, when Warren equivocated on healthcare, that’s when her campaign tanked. Bernie’s staunch m4a is going to win him the nomination.

Still don’t understand why anyone would want the government making your healthcare decisions, forcing you to use their system, or wanting expanded services in every aspect of your life.

I mean I guess if you don’t mind being controlled by your government or are lazy it’s your ideal situation.

It’s funny cause it’s framed in the most absurd manner. Do you want your roads paved by the government? Your schools run by the government? You aren’t demanding the government do it, It’s an inelastic product that should have a public availability component. So it’s just how most of the other functional countries operate. So calling people lazy and controlled by the government is lazy and ignorant.

No, I think private companies are infinitely better than the DOT.

No, private schools are infinitely better in Oklahoma than public.

So, yes people that want everything run by the government are either lazy or ignorant.

Meh, if we’re going anecdotally, private companies here don’t do a great job and also lack a lot of safety.

Public schools in my area are better than private. There are a couple private schools that are considered very good. There are many highly rated public schools, and with taxes being quite low, most be see a tremendous value.

As with most things, depends where you live.

This is precisely why the one size fits all is the worst thing to do. What works in one area isn’t good for another. The mix of federal and private works. Going for all government control for say healthcare will screw a bunch of people, while going private will also screw a bunch of people. There is definitely a compromise that can happen. Unfortunately people are so damn entrenched in their views, like the Bernie bros, that it’s my way or the highway.

If we, in the greatest economic and wealth generating country on the planet, can figure out a way for people not to bankrupt themselves should they get sick, we should probably do that. Be it public, private, or alien in nature. I’m all for it.

Friday I received a medical statement from my dad's hospitalization in December. It totaled just north of $66,000. Around $20K of that was his stay. $11K was medicine. $5K was replacing a gallbladder drain which had fallen out and the "surgery" to replace it, from start to finish, took less than 6 minutes and required no anesthesia. The remainder was various tests and doctor's bills.

Mine was around $375,000 or so a little over 3 weeks in the hospital.

It would obviously be more expensive under a single payer.

Or you’d have to wait in line to get permission from trump to get the procedure.

Yes, he does. He's been consistent since he first ran for Congress with most of his positions.
