This whole Franken thing has been an extremely transparent example of actual, created 'fake news'. The Russian bots are just one facet of the operation...There are many ways that the right distinguishes itself with shitstain behavior. This is not one of them. The joy of bandwagoning onto tenuous "articles" and social media posts is shared by everyone.

The conspiracy was Tweeden's claim, and the propagation of it, with the idea that #metoo would also bring out some real dirt - or at least a Trump loving partisan hack or two who would say anything for their 15 minutes in the spotlight...conspiracy nut
Politics And Current Events
With all of Hollywood awash in #metoo stories, one wonders when it will be Michael Bay's time in the barrel. Weinstein's power was waning, but he was still a broker. But Bay is still making movies with high nine-figure or ten-figure boxoffice numbers. So his saving grace might be that he's still relevant.
The stories I've heard about him kind of put Harvey in the shade. We're talking about a guy who put his production company office down the block from a studio Playboy used for test shoots, and that wasn't a coincidence. I have a couple friends who work at Digital Domain, and they both independently told me a story about the time he had someone fired because they were typing too loudly. (They made a show of dismissing her, but they didn't actually let her go.)

Calling someone stupid, while not being able to comprehend that the picture was just to show that it doesn’t matter she is smiling in the picture... priceless...

The walls are(probably) closing in.
Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

He was trying to shoot a deer. after dusk, from 200 yards away, with a pistol?A woman walking her dogs near her western New York home was fatally shot Wednesday by a man who told police he mistook her for a deer.

Maybe he thinks the Dick Cheney defense will work for him?

I don't doubt that it was unintentional, but it was grossly negligent and criminal. Negligent homicide to be sure...you can't be stupid with firearms.

Even aside from the fact that he was hunting illegally (after dusk) it just doesn't make sense to me that a guy is trying to shoot a deer from 200 yards away, with a pistol. I'm not saying that can't be done, but he'd have to be one hell of a marksman. And a guy who mistakes a woman for a deer doesn't seem like the type who'd be trained well enough to make a kill shot like that.I don't doubt that it was unintentional, but it was grossly negligent and criminal. There are very few pistols effective at that range.

The article said it was a single shot pistol, so likely an actual hunting pistol like a CVA Optima, T/C Contender, etc. He was obviously skilled enough with it to take a 200 yd shot - he did hit his target.
That said, 200 yards after dusk is definitely a criminally negligent shot to take - no matter the weapon.

Don't those dedicated hunting single-shot jobs usually have optics? Even in low light, I can't imagine how such a mistake can be made.
