that said, putting text like that in source code doesn’t actually make sense. I guess it exists as a comment (a piece of code that gets ignored so you can put whatever you want there) but it all seems really stupid and something I don’t want to care about either way

I listened to Joe Rogan interview Tom O'Neil who wrote a book that I thought interesting, and I thought it was a good listen. So I thought I'd give Rogan a shot, and the next thing I saw was his interview with Shapiro at the top of the podcast list. I really do believe I gave it an honest try, the only substantive conversation 20+ minutes in was about how terrible the homeless people in LA are, which was of course offensive and degrading. Then Rogan asked Shapiro why LA has a homelessness problem. His answer, I kid you not, was because the LA mayor stopped letting the police round up the homeless people in the city. Just an awful person that caters to other awful people.

He has some people that I think the majority in this thread wouldn't care for, even if they aren't political by trade, just the way they think the game (Bret Weinstein, for instance)...but some people he has on, like Shapiro or Jordan Peterson, are just goobers...

Shapiro comes across as the guy who thinks he has 4 points that are rehearsed, and if you just speak louder and faster than anyone else, and move on to the next point, you can't lose because you've already shifted the argument.

Every discussion I've seen him in, he just dominates the conversations because he rattles off all of these data points and changes the subjects so quickly, it's pretty hard to even get a discussion point in against him.

My 4th grade teachers recently discovered Pizzagate.
