The political media in this country is just fundamentally incapable of understanding politics. Everything is horse race idiocy, most of these people are just not smart enough to comment on the culture, social, economics and technological convergence that shapes this landscape

I'm honestly stunned this many people thought a typically deep blue state would bounce their blue governor for a red one.

I hope this happens in every state for every job. There's nothing more frustrating when searching for a job than wasting your time on one that winds up offering you substantially less than the position should actually require.

I think also how employees are encouraged to keep their salaries private amongst their co-workers. Imagine if people knew how often they were getting paid well below their co-workers
I don't think this remains an issue with pay transparency. Companies can't dick over employees who don't have a sense of how much they should be making

Facebook thread. These people who legit believe God is on the R side (or the D side but these particular types are 99% R) scare the **** out of me. Names redacted.

These are the worst kind of Christians. Don't read their Bible, only glean from it whatever suits them. They're probably the same people that sincerely pray to God whenever Ben is driving the Steelers for a game winning TD.

Nate Silver can disappear into the ether ASAP, too.

Everything Silver stated in those tweets (from August, when the outcome was far less certain) is factually correct (and nice application of game theory, BTW).

Trying to get my employer to post salary information in job ads has been difficult. I've told the story about the former HR director that would routinely undercut salaries for new employees - 50 cents an hour or less - just to see if the new people noticed. If not, then she saves my employer money which makes her look good in the administration's eyes. Still makes me sick thinking about that.

When our local Domino's franchise buys a billboard advertising hourly wages up to $20 an hour - in rural, BFE SC - we need to step up our game.

It’s already been stated on here before, but again this is the worst, and likely longest lasting, negative impact Trump’s stupidity had on this country. Every single god damn election is gonna deal with this **** now. Nothing is legitimate anymore no matter how legitimate.

One correction @Dickie Dunn...

If GOP wins, it will be legitimate.

You'll still have nuts on the other side, but that was there before Trump.

Sad thing about this one that I'm seeing is that these places are posting these numbers and offering 12-15 an hour to start. There's always a catch, and they never say what they're going to pay.

Probably get $20 based on experience...but there's very little job to job experience in the factory-pizza industry...at least, I'd think...

Didn't Larry elder accept defeat? I mean if you base your opinions on legitimacy around your Facebook feed, you're not going to have a good time

Elder conceded. I think he just said it was rigged, or at least spent the last part of the campaign saying it was going to be rigged.

Pretty irrelevant though, no real consequence to doing that in this race, problem of course being what places like Georgia will do if they lose key house races or statewide elections in 2022.

Larry Elder launched this site on Monday
https://stopcafraud.com/
Perhaps you should look into the legitimacy of concerns that the GOP lies about election fraud.

Gavin Newsom handily survived the recall. Final tallies are yet to come in, but it's looking like he'll be in the 2:1 margin territory.
There should be a system in place that the loser of the recall vote pays the fees. I’m reading this thing cost the state over 250 million?
That's about how much was spent as of yesterday, the final number will likely be a good bit higher.
