If you guys think the MSM is hurting, you should check out some late night talk shows. They're **** lost. SNL isn't back yet but they'll struggle too.

I kind of want to just fight Fallon now instead of you, nocera. You're off the hook.

Eh. Only host I find funny is Colbert but that’s only when he did the Report

I guess I found Letterman funny but otherwise late night network talk shows are so watered down, lowest common denominator comedy

Fallon stinks.
Colbert stinks without Jon Stewart as a front/straight man...

Colbert is fine as like Jack Black in Saving Silverman, but not fine as Nacho Libre...not strong enough to carry a whole show...

Letterman was the best of the post-Carson late night shows until he became consumed with GWB. I'm not sure whether it was the 2000 election or what but even Stewart wasn't all-politics all-the-time until later on in the 2000's. That's what made the Crossfire thing so remarkable.

SNL had a field day with Clinton, and it was laughing with stuff. Most political stuff now on comedy shows is demeaning comedy, which is funny if you are on the "cool team".

I should say, we're lucky enough to have a president now who doesn't go ranting and raving on twitter about every little thing. In fact after the dust settles, I very much look forward no hearing a word out of our president unless something truly newsworthy happens.

We don’t expect to vaccinate kids until 2022?

Was my expectation that anyone could have a vaccine by the summer way off?

Have the vaccines been approved for children under 16?

I think the issue is if you're going to be this big outspoken mask champion, you can't get caught without one, otherwise you're undermining your own cause.

Hes vaccinated anyway, hanging around a bunch of also vaccinated people, so him wearing a mask probably does very little outside of that.
In the binary world we live, yes, he should probably have a mask on. In terms of common sense, he wouldn’t need one.

No.
Right now, Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine is authorized for use in people aged 16 and older. (Moderna's is designated for 18 and older.) That's because, of the several dozen COVID-19 vaccines under development including Pfizer's and Moderna's, none has yet been tested in children who are 12 or younger. That's to be expected. Vaccines are typically tested first in adults before researchers begin tests in children, once the drug has been found to be relatively safe.

Reminds me of this tweet I ran across yesterday:

Seems the media is a little desperate now that Trump isn't there to fill their columns and news shows all day every day.
posting a Cillizza tweet is almost cheating though
I want to send my non-existent kid to Loomis Chaffee.
Cillizza has actually grown on me over the years.

Well, until it's been tested that vaccinated folks cannot carry and spread the virus, he does need one. That's been the talking point from the experts anyway.

Moderna, no.
Pfizer, 16+

Unless I'm remembering backwards, but the answer is no.
