More evidence for me that Trump (and the creepy, bald 33 year old running the WH immigration policy) want a government shutdown.

Or neither is open to one single bit of compromise.

Or a combination of both.

This is why the no compromise crowd in both parties is so useless.

Like it or not, The Wall was a cornerstone of his campaign; 80% of the public wants to say "welcome" to DACA crowd.
Sane people compromise and this is a reasonable one.

After telling everyone all week that the DC conference will be cancelled if there’s a shutdown, an email was just sent out saying that’s it’s scheduled as planned. If this shutdown can’t get me out of driving to DC, what the hell is the point?

I’ll enjoy my 3-4 days off before the large defense contractors dodint and moan that they will layoff all their employees that work on government contracts if DoD doesn’t reinstate approval of their products and services.
