I think the "red meat" thing is about the environmental destruction caused by mass producing red meat.

When those stories came out at the outset of COVID about mass euthanasia at meat factories, that was two by four to the head for me. I've stopped eating pork and beef, haven't taken poultry out, but it's not about purity, just I thought the least I could do.

Red meat isn't good for you, or the environment.

So is this postal service situation really happening because of Trump and the election or is there another reason for what appears to be happening?

I've never understood why the average person wastes their money on a machine gun. pistols to protect your home, rifles to both protect your home and hunt with, those I understand. you don't need a full or semi automatic weapon to protect your home and family. I do recognize though that like most 'MURICA! things, it's not about need, it's about want. to each their own.
You approve of "pistols to protect your home," but you sat "you don't need a full or semi automatic weapon to protect your home and family." So by "pistol," you are referring only to revolvers or single-shot handguns? Because most pistols are semi-automatic.
approve is your word, not mine but perhaps I partially misspoke so here goes, "you don't need a full or semi automatic RIFLE to protect your home and family."
thanks to the 2nd you can own (almost) anything you want. as long as you don't bring it into my house, I don't care.
A shoulder-fired platform is way more effective at home defense, generally. It's more naturally pointable, easier to control, less difficult to master, etc. I'd much rather have a rifle than a pistol in home invasion situation.

This bugaboo about 'RIFLES' is misplaced.

Romney will be like 90 in 2024 and will AOC be old enough?

I don't think AOC could win a NY statewide election much less the presidency. Maybe in 25 years.

USPS says Pennsylvania mail ballots may not be delivered on time, and state warns of ‘overwhelming’ risk to voters
https://www.inquirer.com/politics/elect ... 00813.html

I was all-in on voting by mail for the primary. With all the nonsense going on now, no way do I take that chance. I'm still not too keen on waiting in line, so I'll do a mail ballot but drop it off myself.

More: “[T]he RNC and Trump campaign advisers are now mapping out their post-election strategy, including how to challenge mail ballots without postmarks, as they anticipate weeks-long legal fights in an array of states, according to people familiar with the plans, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal discussions.”
“The campaign plans to have lawyers ready to mobilize in every state and expects legal battles could play out after Election Day in such states as Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan and Nevada, they said.”
Going to be an absolute nightmare.

They still haven't figured out the Democratic primary from June in New York City.

Besides it would be a dereliction of duty not to map out a legal strategy deal with any number of issues arising from mail-in ballots.

I don't trust Trump and the GOP either, but they'd be absolute morons if they don't have lawyers ready to play out legal battles in swing states. I hope the DNC has them ready to go as well.

Yes, NY botched their mail in election. But basically every other state managed to do their primary without issue. If there was any validity to your point, they would at least mention NY as one of their focus, as opposed to a handful of states that did not have issues.

Side note, it is amusing to see NY being pointed at as evidence of mail voting problems, just conveniently ignore all the instances where mail-in voting was not a problem.
