caveat, Cuomo's remarks about American greatness are pretty stupid. But this is truly a gem of a response.
I mean, it's good and all, but the "greatest" thing we did was have a country that exists coast to coast and is practically impervious to enemy occupation. So when the rest of the the first world spent 30 years rebuilding we got a head start.

When you think of the country as a position player in sports where we have these debates about legends, and greatness; America is great. So while there's lots of things we do badly, it's kind of like saying Dan Marino could throw a beautiful deep ball, but he couldn't tackle for ****.

To answer Troy's question the idea behind a celibate priesthood is that initially it wasn't exactly a picnic being a minister in the church. It wasn't exactly a labor which led itself either to long life or simple living so it seemed a bad idea to bring a wife and kids into that scenario. So it was one of those things that had a good beginning (i.e. - making widows is not a loving thing), but became the "married to the church" concept later on.

Though, to be fair (I say this personally) being married to a minister still ain't exactly the easiest thing. It's basically like being married to a first responder when it comes to being called out at all hours to handle situations, plus the (whether people want to admit it or not, and I do what I can to protect my wife from it) added pressure of being a model citizen and parent at all times.

President Trump in an interview attributed his decision to revoke ex-CIA Director John Brennan's security clearance to his role in early stages of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Trump told The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday that he considers Brennan and other former intelligence officials whose clearances he's considering revoking among the leaders of the investigation.

“I call it the rigged witch hunt, [it] is a sham. And these people led it!” Trump told the newspaper hours after it was announced Brennan's clearance was being revoked.

“So I think it’s something that had to be done," he added.

So, in public and on the record, he's saying he invoked his executive authority in a punitive manner because of the roles people played in investigating his campaign.

As far as "married to a job" goes, these are some of the 1872 Oklahoma rules for teachers:

Just fixing another thing Obummer wouldn't do

It’s time for Obama to take that responsibility head-on and start to restore in U.S. intelligence agencies some semblance of responsibility to the Constitution and the public.
It’s time for Barack Obama to fire John Brennan.

Ahh yes, Trump is doing it for the Constitution. Not because Brennan says mean things about him

Second paragraph agreement. My Father-in-Law just retired from the Disciples of Christ. And often times the kids get the worst of it.

I'm pretty sure no one believes the GOP cares about fiscal responsibility.

20K in debt? Did she only go for one semester? Or did she think that community college degree was going to lead to a life of fame and riches? The world needs answers.

I'm trying to figure out why the ink on the top line is different from the ink in the middle. And why the A's and N's look like different people wrote them.
