I cannot in good conscience vote to add more to the already massive $20 trillion debt. I promised Kentucky to vote against reckless, deficit spending and I will do just that.

They're interviewing an Alabamian Republican voter on TV who just said he wrote in Nick Saban instead of voting for a Democrat. The sheer number of people I've heard on TV in recent days expressing existential dread at the prospect of voting for a Democrat is truly staggering.

I forget who posted it here, but there's going to be an avalanche of these accusations from the restaurant industry. Possibly even more substantial than from the entertainment industry.

Also, I saw an interesting take on the AL Senate race: The best outcome for Democrats would be a Moore win, and the best outcome for Republicans would be a Jones win. What a time.

I need an appointment at the recalibration shop as well. My first reaction yesterday when I heard the news was "isn't that guy gay?".
Have either of you actually met more than, say, zero gay people in real life? Because this..... woof.

For one thing, I highly doubt a gay man would willingly wear Crocs in public, which Batali does all the time.

I usually have CNN streaming on my laptop, and listen in with my ear buds while I work. So I didn't have a visual reference when this happened, and that made it somehow more cringey after the fact. Like one of the comments on that Twitter post, I thought it was a streaming issue at first.

All the exits point to a tight race, but I’d say Moore still has the edge. He’s overperforming with whites, which offsets the increase in black voters from 2012.
