So wait, they’re not coming for your guns? That seemed to be a concern not long ago.

What's the end game here? Feels like these NTP66s want everyone walking around like the wild west solving problems with a gun. It's fairly obvious they aren't thinking of the consequences (similar to Brexit). Bunch of cowards hiding behind their guns.

Just to use the court to impose preferred conservative policy positions and deliver wins to those that least deserve them.

If that's the case, mission accomplished ITT.

Even if the GOP didn't pull the crap they did at end of Obama's term, this decision goes 5-4 at worst.

Good news, SCOTUS is also about to strip the government's ability to regulate pollutants as well.

I know the guns are the hot topic, but IMO the elimination of Miranda rights is an even bigger issue.

Noting how the 1A and 4A protections aren't limited to the technology of 1790 and so thus shouldn't limit 2A is a point I've been making ITT and its predecessor for many years. But I do have some reservation about the potentially broader applicability outside of the context of 2A of this "regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition" standard. That's some frightfully dubious stuff imo.

We have restricted black people from voting for years, so it's in the Nation's historical standard to set the outer bounds of voting rights somewhere this side of letting people who aren't white vote.

It seems like an asinine standard to set.

Nah, that’s an acceptable consequence of freedom according to the usual suspects.

Shyster, I don't expect you to understand the disagreement with what happened today, yesterday, or tomorrow because you are too far gone with your weird obsession.
