At this point, I don’t care if justice gets served for justice’s sake. I want justice to be served because of all of these “x person has been subpoenaed” or “y has been raided” stories. Make it worth my attention span’s while

“This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish,” Mr Perry said.

The point is to not allow that to happen to give you time, guy.
It’s almost as if none of these people know how this works.

No kidding. Complaining about not being informed in advance that you are going to be served with a search warrant is like a solider in an declared war complaining that enemy soldiers didn't warn him that they were about to start shooting at him.

Depending on the company, you might have a year or two of text/call data at most.

Interesting legal question on that abortion case. The abortion in question occurred in April, which was well before the SCOTUS issued its Dobbs opinion. Thus, at that time, Nebraska's 20-week abortion law was unenforceable under Roe and Casey. The government cannot pass a law that would retroactively declare something illegal (i.e., an ex-post-facto law). But can the government charge someone under a criminal statute that may have been on the books but was legally unenforceable at the time of the alleged offense?

Offhand, I don't know the answer. It sounds like a law-school test question.

That sounds like a slippery slope to me.

I dont know how this works but Nebraska had banned post-20 week abortions back in 2010. So the weeks 20-24 seems like it's been a gray area for a long time - I assume it would ultimately have been superseded by roe v wade if it came down to it. Also it seems that suction was the only legal procedure at her gestation age so abortion pills at 23 weeks would still have been illegal

Burning and burying a dead fetus also seems to reside on shaky legal ground...

Yes, home abortion by an illegal method seems to take away from the whole "women's healthcare" aspect.

Not speaking specifically about this case, but don't be surprised to see more "home abortions by illegal methods."

She also called to defund the FBI, lol. Don't defund the police, but defund the FBI. Got it.

I'm in favor of any sort of clothing that lets me know who to avoid. Whether that be red baseball hats, Ed Hardy t-shirts, thin blue line anything, or Enemy of the State. Thanks, MTG.

Every once in a while I'll see a red hat and have to look closely before assuming that the person is a **** idiot.
