Can you see if any of these buffoons can make a list of his accomplishments? I’m genuinely curious for tangible evidence of why they think he’s so good.

It feels like this is a group of people that think Trump actually had more than a handful of new miles of border wall constructed. Nearly all of the border wall work has been repairing/restoring existing barriers, and much of the actual new work has been limited to demolition/blasting terrain that has resulted in a more permeable border in those areas than when Trump was inaugurated.

No, we have not evolved naturally-occurring face coverings. But you know what we have evolved over time? Very large brains relative to our body mass. Brains that allow us to recognize and form adequate responses to threats in our environment that other mammals aren't capable of.

Haha, the Kushners wouldn't let their Secret Service detail use one of the six bathrooms in their DC manse, forcing the government to eventually rent a $3000 a month basement apartment nearby.

The agents were able to use the nearby Obama's bathroom, as well as the Pences. But this cracks me up:

The Obamas did not use the garage, so the extra traffic to and from the command post caused no problem. Yet this solution, too, was short-lived after a Secret Service supervisor from the Trump/Kushner detail left an unpleasant mess in the Obama bathroom at some point before the fall of 2017, according to a person briefed on the event. That prompted the leaders of the Obama detail to ban the agents up the street from ever returning.

Can he claim “judges” anymore? Since every judge that had a chance threw out their flagrant attempts to overturn a fair election.

He had a misguided conception of how judges do judging. He completely reshaped the federal judiciary for what will likely be the next decade or more, but imo he did so more or less incidentally. It feels like he was just a vessel. I'm not sure how much active input other Presidents have had in judicial selections, like how much they actually know about their nominees vs having a curated list a candidates presented to them and they throw a dart at every vacancy. But when his supporters in Congress say he has been a very consequential President, I don't disagree, for that reason.

On Dec. 8, someone made a simultaneous transfer of 28.15 bitcoins — worth more than $500,000 at the time — to 22 different virtual wallets, most of them belonging to prominent right-wing organizations and personalities.

Now cryptocurrency researchers believe they have identified who made the transfer, and suspect it was intended to bolster those far-right causes. U.S. law enforcement is investigating whether the donations were linked to the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol.

While the motivation is difficult to prove, the transfer came just a month before the violent riot in the Capitol, which took place after President Trump invited supporters to “walk down Pennsylvania Avenue” and “take back our country.”

I am ultimately curious how these investigations turn up.

A Florida substitute teacher who was caught on video telling students Antifa was responsible for the Capitol riots has been fired ... TMZ has learned.

Dr. Damien Moses, principal at Bok Academy in Lake Wales, FL., tells TMZ ... the teacher's conduct was immediately dealt with following the incident from earlier this week. Moses said, "We met with her and she has been dismissed not only from our school, but also from the Lake Wales Charter School System."

The way things are shaking out in the Senate, Trump's conviction is actually in play. Bigly longshot, to be sure, but in play. I do think at least part of the decision making by GOP Senators will be informed by his pardon-palooza activities in this final week. I think several of them will be much more inclined to vote to convict and bar him from holding future office if he pardons all of these insurrectionists that have been arrested/charged since 1/6.

Another informing factor will be reelection prospects. There are 20 GOP Senate seats up in the next midterm, including some prominent names. But that leaves 30 GOP Senators who won't face reelection for at least another 4 full years.

It's the hypocrisy. If Covid is still raging in Chicago (it is) why is the mayor trying to open the bars/restaurants, especially given her previous Covid statements?

Or are we only allowed to poke fun/criticize GOP folk/Trumpers?
