Nope. DC is a joke. Volunteered at my kid’s school today. Far more productive than anything anybody did in the nation’s capital.

They should just make the winner of the impeachment political game a vote on who had the best one liners. The whole process is a joke (Since republicans and democrats only care about making splash statements) so might as well vote for the best ones.

I'm still trying to understand the point of all this time, energy, and tax payer money. It's a forgone conclusion the House will have the votes, and it's just as likely it won't get through the Senate. So why bother? The best path has always been to get him voted out and, while I can't prove this to be factual, I feel like this whole thing lessens that chance. Maybe the Senate will surprise me but this seems like an all-in move too soon.

Yes, the problem here is of course the legislative branch doing political things, and not the executive branch doing unquestionably unethical, and potential illegal things.

Republicans wanted it open to do this. People on reddit think this was a huge blow to Rs making it public, but now you get guys like Jim Jordan et all. allowed to tie the political conspiracies to this in a more open environment. IMO, the best course of action was to always keep it private, continually push out that Republicans are in those meetings, and display the facts when you vote to house.

Now there's an opportunity to just make it all a farce, which seems to make the whole thing a farce overall. Some of the arguments Republicans were making yesterday were crazy town, but it doesn't matter as long as they convince enough people.

I’m literally making a comment about how they have to get their dumbass one liners in instead of actually caring about doing their jobs properly. This has nothing to do with the executive branches misdeeds. It’s like you guys aren’t able to look objectively at these dumbasses in the legislature because they are against trump.

I can prioritize the actual problem and not give a **** about the trivial cable news punditry. A reasonable person would assume from the pattern of your posts that you don't care about the substance of the issue, but absolutely livid about the political theatrics.

Wear the public down to the point when next year rolls around they just want to be done with the constant drama, chaos and shttstorms and just vote him out.
