We were scheduled to start back a week earlier to accommodate the RNC before Covid. Now it’s two weeks earlier than normal to “catch up” and accommodate the RNC.

It would be nice if they would put largest amount of new cases in some kind of context.

The media all over the place is conflating positive tests for cases which people read as hospitalization.

Being a veteran doesn't make Lamb untouchable or beyond reproach. Conor Lamb (who is my rep) ran on a platform of independence where he promised he would not be a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi. But that's mostly what he's been. I certainly have no plans to vote for him.

Also, I agree that veteran status does not cloak one in a shield of immunity to insult. But I would qualify that with the notion that mayyybeeeee Memorial Day might be a good time for the Commander-in-Chief to sit on the ol' Tweet-o-lator and perhaps belay the impulse to attack a vet - who is still part of the chain of command as a Reservist.

This would be impossible because nobody would have kept track of it but I wonder how often Great Clips employees got sick from customers before we took notice of it.

Not sure what to think about that story with the lady and the dog in nyc. Why is that guy filming her? And it’s a tell that it’s being described that he “simply” told her to put the dog on a leash. Obviously the most disgusting part is her threatening to make false statement to the police, but I am not a fan of instigating a confrontation and then filming the reaction.
