I just think if it's time we're going to be stuck playing these partisan politics games, both sides should be throwing **** out the window and doing what they can, with the time that they have.

Personally, inaction is probably best for all of us, mostly, but christ, is the talking point old.

Oh man, this is my beat.

Cancel culture warrior is “reasonably concerned” when a cancellation for his team occurs.

And, I don’t care about the 1619 project or that she didn’t get her dumb tenure. I care when people seem to realize their cancel culture ploys are idiotic

RINO Adam Kenzinger was pressed on the Bulwark podcast why he didn’t vote to impeach for Ukraine.

The answer from US’s #2 Republican with a conscience...because they started the proceedings right before Christmas. That’s the answer. He speaks for Cheney on this.

The guy lecturing on duty to country thinks it’s ok to solicit foreign interference in US elections if we have to then talk about it while Target is still selling tinsel.

Yep. Happens in war.

There are German, Belgian, and French farmers still dying from unexploded ordinance.

(Btw, I'm sure a 1,000lb bomb fell in that room without breaking the walls or the windows).

I like Freddy’s pointless incredulity; as if it was staged.

We never see staged and manipulated photos in the Middle East...
Over the past week the hashtag #GazaUnderAttack has been used hundreds of thousands of times, often to distribute pictures claiming to show the effects the airstrikes.

Some of the images are of the current situation in Gaza, but a #BBCtrending analysis has found that some date as far back as 2009 and others are from conflicts in Syria and Iraq.
https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-28198622
Reuters on Sunday withdrew an image of smoke rising from burning buildings after an Israeli airstrike Saturday on the suburbs of Beirut after evidence emerged that it had been manipulated to show more smoke. The manipulated image is shown on the left. The unaltered image, shown on the right, has since run.

He's not wrong in that this happens in war and that European rural citizens still find them and they can still be dangerous. Hell they found mustard gas in DC about 25 years ago.

Cant really blame an attempted staged photo after decades of propaganda working against your survival.

Paul Verhoeven grew up with an unexploded German bomb in his backyard in Holland, which I think is probably why he is the way he is.

Also, I don't think the thing in that photo is a bomb. (No stabilizing fins, guidance, or fuse, at least that I can see.) I think it's a drop tank for fuel, but I can't figure why they'd be shedding stores.

They ran out of bombs and decided to just drop the tanks on people, too.

Yeah, that's sort of what I'm getting at. The two airbases that are staging F-16s for these strikes are so close to Gaza that the target area is going to be in visual range almost before the gear retracts after they launch. Why would they even be carrying external tanks to begin with? The F-16 isn't super long-range, but it isn't so short-legged that it would need extra gas bags. (Assuming that's what that thing is; if it isn't....... moving on!)

They found unexploded ordinance on the beach near Cape Hatteras last summer. I've always found that equal parts fascinating and scary

Is unexploded ordinance some kind of metaphor?
