Didn't everybody have that one classmate in high school whose dad was in his 80s?

I was that classmate. my dad wasn't 80 but by the time was in high school he was in his 60s. when we studied WWII in history class all of my friends would talk about how their grandfathers fought in WWII. my dad did.
I have an older brother and older sister. pretty sure I was....a surprise.

My best friend in high school was a Korean War veteran. I think he was in his 60s in the late 90s, and was a dental professor at Pitt. Good man, just passed away a few years ago. His son is the lead singer for a pretty well-known Pittsburgh area band, fwiw. He's normal lol.

And I've had it up to here with people dodinting about the 'double standard'. There's oceans of difference between her social media comportment and Cheeto's, but it doesn't sit right with me that these folks spent 5 years complaining about how a government official conducted themselves on social media and then find the nearest microphone to whinge into when a mirror is held up.
