Uh oh. Professor Blackburn is putting her brainpower to good use and has cracked the case of colossal bloat to the tune of...*checks notes*... .03% of the total package. But there is, however “much much more” to be wary of.

I used to inline skate a lot in the south. One day I wore a fitness tracker to see how fast I could go. Turns out I could maintain a pace of about 8mph, pretty close to my normal running pace. I could do it longer though.
It feels a hell of a lot faster though  I remember I thought I could ice skate really quickly and was sorely disappointed

I hate that we are rolling into March without stimulus checks because it gives my Trumper family members legitimate complaint.

It's not a stretch to say the Republicans lost the GA runoffs because they didn't back the stimulus. Amusing that the Democrats are slow to deliver.

People will use this as a failure of capitalism as a whole. I hope people are starting to realize that unfettered capitalism doesn’t work when life necessities are involved. People can’t simply go without power and when they do t have options they can’t switch providers. The power dynamic (no pun intended) isn’t equal as the power companies have a stranglehold on the consumer.

Regulations are needed for these types of goods/services. Water, gas, electric, sewage, garbage should never hit a point of being able to gouge the public.

Most people do not have options for their water, gas, electric, sewage, and garbage (and in many places cable TV and phone) due to government-imposed monopolies. The reason for the "stranglehold" is not a lack of regulation.

I think the odds are pretty high that Blackburn’s comms people did the math wrong and thought that amounted to 3% and not .03%

No. Those are city things. Cities are liberal safe havens. And I don’t want my hard earned tax dollars going to liberal safe havens.
