When is the Senate going to vote on impeachment? I'm sure the Dems being Dems are waiting for Mitch to let them know, but you'd think they'd get that moving?
It's up to Nancy. Trial can't start until she sends it to the Senate...

I think the issue is if you're going to be this big outspoken mask champion, you can't get caught without one, otherwise you're undermining your own cause.

Hes vaccinated anyway, hanging around a bunch of also vaccinated people, so him wearing a mask probably does very little outside of that.
In the binary world we live, yes, he should probably have a mask on. In terms of common sense, he wouldn’t need one.
Well, until it's been tested that vaccinated folks cannot carry and spread the virus, he does need one. That's been the talking point from the experts anyway.
Not talking about general terms. Just the specific situation.

We don’t expect to vaccinate kids until 2022?

Was my expectation that anyone could have a vaccine by the summer way off?
Have the vaccines been approved for children under 16?
Moderna, no.
Pfizer, 16+

Unless I'm remembering backwards, but the answer is no.
But you don't have kids... how would you know?

I'll take this scandal over "Trump starts an insurrection and people die."
Yep, sensible comparison and we thank you for this.

I look forward to the 1/6/21 trump card any time someone even remotely questions something biden did.
Sorry - I can use a different Trump scandal if we want. The 1/6 one was just the most recent.

That was me basically saying, I'll take a "lame" outcry of something Biden did over extreme cases that ramped up in the last six months. I can't imagine Biden is going to be involved in the news cycle 24/7 by saying ridiculously dumb things and doing them.

https://store.berniesanders.com/product ... s-crewneck
Bernie Sanders’ campaign has turned the viral photo of him bundled up at Joe Biden’s inauguration into a new sweatshirt, with all proceeds going to charity.

The “Chairman Sanders Crewneck” — named to honor Sanders’ assumption of the powerful Senate Budget Committee chair now that Democrats control the chamber — is on sale now for $45, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Meals on Wheels Vermont. The absurd popularity of the meme, however, seems to have already caused a glut in orders, with a note on the site cautioning, “Due to overwhelming demand for this item, it may be a few weeks until you receive your sweatshirt.”

The photo of Sanders at the inauguration, taken by Brendan Smialowski for Getty Images, was probably the most unexpectedly memorable image to come out of Biden’s inauguration. The photo captured Sanders at his normcore best: crossed legs, crossed arms, big fuzzy mittens over his hands, face mask properly covering nose, mouth and chin, yet also just slightly askew. Capping it all off, Sanders’ gray jacket was clearly the same one he was wearing in the “I am once again asking…” meme that emerged during his 2020 presidential bid (if anything, it’s just proof that a person truly only needs one good coat).

Goes to the nativist thing from yesterday. There are real life problems that they are considering. But the real world lesson is always, just because you talk about a problem does not mean you have a workable solution

Nearly all of the breathless anti-Brexit stuff has failed to materialize.

It's all filled with buts, maybes, would, could, etc... from Remainers who are still butthurt that the proles chose wrong.

Democracy is good, unless...

Gotta give him something to do. Kinda feel bad that his job is now kinda pointless since Biden won't be spewing nearly as much **** as his predecessor

I'm confused, though. He's linking to a CNN page which fact-checks Biden. So is it Okay CNN or Okay Biden?

Dodint owned again. #kids
Senior Democratic lawmakers are moving to fulfill President Biden’s desire to expand the child tax credit by drafting legislation that would direct the Internal Revenue Service to send recurring monthly payments to tens of millions of American families, according to officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to share knowledge of the internal discussion.

Under one draft of the plan being discussed, the IRS would be tasked with depositing checks worth $300 every month per child younger than 6, as well as $250 every month per child aged 6 to 17. That would amount to $3,600 over the course of the year for young children, as well as $3,000 a year for older children, the officials said.

I'd pay $3,600 to continue not having kids.

Pro-environment and paying people to over-populate...? Hmph, I don't know...sounds kind of fishy...
