This is one of those, did it specifically stipulate those things or is that just what happens as a result of an overarching policy change of less regulations? My guess is that even Trump isn't mean spirited enough to make the policy change for those reasons, they're just a result.

Not one person is arguing or presenting an argument...
But the question is: Did Trump really sign into law (or whatever) a piece of paper that said, "Homeless shelters have the right to turn away queer teenagers"...?
Or is someone trying to connect some wires about some general de-regulatory move...?
It just feels like one of those...
God is love; love is blind; Ray Charles is blind; Ray Charles is God kind of things...

The issue is whether private, religious entities that contract with the government to provide social services can be forced to implement non-discrimination policies that may go against their religious beliefs. For example, in many places one of the entities that is licensed to provide adoption services is Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities doesn't want to place children with same-sex couples. Can the government force Catholic Charities to place children with same-sex couples or require Catholic Charities to place children with same-sex couples as a condition of licensure as an adoption agency? If a church runs a homeless shelter, can the government require that the shelter accept everyone, including people the church members would object to? Those are the questions.
Here, HHS issued a rule that said "no," although that rule may well be revoked by the new administration. There is also a case on this general subject pending before SCOTUS.

Which is completely ridiculous. He’s sung for every President since Carter, excluding Reagan. Jill Biden reached out to him and he said he’d do it as a reach across politics even if he was the only Republican up there.Somersetians are freaking out and saying how they'll never support Garth Brooks again.

Biden has already signed a plethora of executive orders that rolled back nearly all of that, including rejoining the Paris thing, and other stuff.

All right, so if you're taking government money, I think you're subject to government rules...
If you're a private/religion entity, and you don't want to give kids to people who wear black shoes and brown shirts, then that's your business...
