Most in the Dem primary probably could have beaten Trump... probably.

I was just thinking that I absolutely would have given how long they sat there. Dude's probably got little to no sleep, go for it.

Not sure any of the other dems would get GOP voters like Biden did. I think all of the republicans here who voted for Biden said he's the only one they would have voted for.

Yeah, in all seriousness, this is a very long day for anyone. I'd seriously jsut want to walk up to my bedroom when I got into the white house and lay on the bed.

Biden is the first president where the most important "button" under his control is the one he can push if he falls down and can't get up.

I feel like this was a Reagan joke once upon a time...

it's a good one. I did read about security concerns over Biden's Peloton bike though. laughable after Trump's Twitter presidency.
I would be curious to see 46's metrics though.

The real savior of the presidential race was COVID. Without it, Trump would have crushed any opponent, IMO. But yes, whoever got Biden to run against almost-certain Democrat nominee winner Bernie (who may be a guy with integrity, but is completely unelectable) is a secondary savior indeed.

I will certainly agree, without COVID, Trump wins in a landslide.

Covid didn't lose it for Trump, his lies and handling of it did.

Yes. I think without COVID or a half-decent response to it, we'd be looking at Trump term 2.
