I agree with the sentiment, but people don’t vote much based on that stuff. People vote on the things that have the biggest personal impact - economy, health care, single issues like gun control. Very few people will cast a vote based on political correctness.
imo you are approximately 50% wrong.

It's not 'very few' people. It's 'enough people to swing outcomes'.

This. These elections were all essentially on knifes edge. A small percentage one way or another swings the politics of this country a lot
