Extremely irresponsible and potentially damaging trust in vaccines being developed. CNN should be ashamed.

Is this the 30,000 person study and they selected one person out and highlighted that they had a negative response...?

Yes and a data safety board already said it was unlikely caused by the vaccine.

Man. Having one or two kids is hard enough. Imagine having a million.

So if I'm reading this correctly, the patient had her first dose in June, second dose in mid August, she tripped while running in September AND THE NEXT DAY started feeling the symptoms that got worse to the point of hospitalization for what looked like a spinal/nerve issue and we still have people concerned that it was the vaccine that cause it? As Fauci said, it's something to note. It's something to jot down, and if similar symptoms occur in other patients, let's take a deeper look, but for now this seems silly to try to say it's the vaccine's fault. I'm sure the people that think it's the vaccine already are or were on the vaccines cause autism bandwagon.

Sign outside former Ohio City hot dog shop blames millennials for restaurant’s closure

It doesn't look like the owner posted that sign. Also, this isn't COVID related. They announced their closure on February 19. So are they saying millennials just hate hot dogs?

*edit*
I've now done way too much research about the closing of a hot dog shop that I've never been to. From Reddit:
I talked with the owners earlier in the year. A development proposal was made last year to replace the corner with a taller building featuring apartments and ground floor retail. The developers wanted to reopen the hot dog place there. Ultimately, the owners decided against it because they wanted to retire rather than close and reopen after construction. They had already been considering retiring, this just gave them a timeline. And then lockdown happened and the timeline changed and they closed in March. I'm still not sure what millennials did...

Karen; most upset that she couldn't speak to the manager.

Nice. So they announced it on Twitter before notifying the principals.

I'm sorry but hot-dog shops shouldn't be a thing. Especially not in this day and age, but let's blame the group of people who actually have kind of brought trendy hot-dogs back with gastro-pub type stuff.

Surely it's not the boomers unwilling to spend $8 on a hot-dog, "when I can just cook one just as good at home."

You live on the bottom floor of a dumpster if you're eating hot dogs regularly...you're just stuck-on trash...

One of the interesting things that has happened rhetorically is that the DNC has successfully made it look like they are against big corporate money and Wall Street in politics.

Can’t wait to go back and read the Loretta lynch tarmac discussion from 2016.
What possible motivation would William Barr have to disrupt his own personal life where he's making an insane amount of money in his late 60's and living as respected legal royalty in DC to come in and white knight for Trump?
Indeed.

Here's the bit that I really don't get about all this 'panic' talk.

I understand that part of the initial hesitation on recommending mask wearing was to prevent a run on the disposable items, thus hampering availability for medical caregivers. Totally get and understand that, even if I don't understand the level to which the federal government seemed to be actively working against state and local agencies (e.g. Massachusetts, or whatever state, had to go all Mission Impossible on a shipment of PPE back in April or whatever it was to make sure federal authorities didn't intercept the gear).

But in terms of preventing 'panic'......... am I the only one that remembers the bare store shelves in March? People were already in quasi-panic mode. "We don't want people to panic, so let's introduce an undue level of risk to public conduct." What?

*spots a beehive in the distance that could use a good kick*

The time from post to attempted tear down of the "pro-Jewish" (or, anti-anti-Semitic) media post yesterday (?) was very short before the typical worker bees came buzzin...and that was just about a despicable event that happened 80 years ago...

The seemingly quite needlessly alarmist (gleefully, maybe ;) ) CNN article about covid vaccines is really untouched...

Maybe everyone is really busy today... :slug:

I had a meeting from 8:30 to 11... and commented on it already.

Additionally, the comments (beyond one poster) were either: "What does this have to do with 'the left'?" or "Man, people are dumb..." Unless I missed something?

I have no one foe'd and I think only you and I commented on it...

I'm not asking for any comments either (new or further), but it's a repetitive observation...this one, in particular, seems to check off a number of unsavory boxes for your team...
