By the way, came across this 1949 Republican billboard in my Instagram feed today. This billboard was in the Hill District. Seemed appropriate after Trump's tweet.

The most powerful Biden commercial I’ve seen so far was detailing his upbringing in PA, the death of his wife, and the love he has for his kids. It was really effective in stripping away the career politician and showing the human underneath. Now that IMO was a really good ad.

Did it talk about him lying about the guy who hit his wife's car for 40 years?

Just another exhibit of why the 2 party system sucks. Neither party wants this package to get thru prior to November. That way they can both blame each other. We all lose.

I don't think it's neither party wants the package to get through... it's that they want THEIR package to get through that way they can say they are the ones that helped the American worker. I haven't read enough to know where the sticking points are, but this could/should be an easy bipartisan plan. Should be...Just another exhibit of why the 2 party system sucks. The GOP package is half of the spend they offered during the summer ($500m, versus $1t, versus the $3.5t the Dems wanted)
-It's $300 for unemployment, versus $400
-No money for state or local governments
-No eviction security
-Shields schools and businesses from lawsuits over opening up
The problem is the idea that passing one bill is enough. There's no guarantee that if they agree on the bare bones that the GOP will sit and talk about the next steps Dems feel are necessary. So you have to have a compromise bill to wrap it all up which they'll never agree on.

This can apply to both Biden and TrumpI think most just see him as your creepy uncle, that always invades your personal space and says awkward things, that you have to invite to family gatherings.I don't think people see him like that outside of political junkie world. He seems more like a grandpa or something.is biden likeable? He is a senile corpse with a track record of failed policies.Clinton was completely unlikeable so that might be true. Still, feels like Trump is going back to the "wall" and muslim well here.
I don't think it actually did. People just honestly believed that Trump was more trustworthy than Clinton. hard to really pin that down, but that meter has shifted on it's head in favor of Biden.
This is all going to go back to whether Trump gets enough of those typical GOP voters to come home.

Jill Stein got more votes than Trump's margins in WI and WI, and close to the same number as the margin in PA.The share of third party vote was high in 2016.

It’s just an inherent flaw in the US voting system (first past the post). Voted for non Biden are effectively all votes for TrumpThis is basically the only hope I have for Biden to win the election, however, I have seen a shift in my Libertarian friends recently who are now voting for Jorgensen instead of Biden. That has me worried. And a lot of moderates that took a chance on him last time. I think that's where he loses this.I don't think it actually did. People just honestly believed that Trump was more trustworthy than Clinton. hard to really pin that down, but that meter has shifted on it's head in favor of Biden.
Ah yes, appealing to the casual racism of suburbanites. Hey, it worked in 2016.
This is all going to go back to whether Trump gets enough of those typical GOP voters to come home.
Which sucks. You should be able to vote for who you like but there’s also pressure to vote for someone that actually has a chance to win

Both of the main parties will preach that they want to make sure everyone can vote. Unless people want to vote for a third party. Then they file lawsuits to knock the candidates off the ballot. In this case, it's the Democrats suing to knock the presidential candidate for the Green Party off the ballot:

Literally zero people would have cared if he said yes.

Why couldn't he just say, yes he uses it for notes or something?

Regardless - this is politics today. So effing stupid. No actual policies, plans, debating merits of those.. teleprompters and he said/she said comments the president may have made. We suck

Seriously, the fact that so many votes come down to “I like/dislike this person.” Is crazy. New rule! The parties only get to post their platforms and that’s what we vote on!Regardless - this is politics today. So effing stupid. I could be talked into moving to a more parliamentary model.

I have wanted people to vote on policies with no name or party attached to it, then your ballot is cast for the person that most aligns to your answers.Seriously, the fact that so many votes come down to “I like/dislike this person.” Is crazy. You know what I hate? How every local election is partisan. Like coroner, county auditor, and sheriff are all run by the two party system. It’s dumb.
Our county sheriff ran as a Democrat, and got primaried by a former deputy. He lost a close race because most of his supporters could only vote in one primary, and voted in the GOP primary.
