True, but how many incidents are there of police like in the above posts, where they’re doing the right thing? The negative will always get the most coverage. Some of the bad are just bad people; some are put in bad positions and make poor choices. Most are doing the right thing.

For all of the horrific sht that has been perpetrated by rioters over the last 48 hours, it is really weird to see people in here obsessing over every little thing the police have done during this anarchy that is even remotely questionable.

Like, I completely get that some bad decisions have been made and several cops have already been punished, and rightfully so. And we all know what the initial flashpoint for this was. But I don't know how you can look at what has happened over the last two days and your first thought is to search for tweets about alleged bad things police are doing. It's urban warfare against full blown jackals that are assaulting and destroying everything they see. The police are literally the only thing standing between these rioters and the total destruction of our cities.

Yes, mistakes have been made by multiple cops fighting this battle and they should be held accountable as some already have, but it just seems bizarre to be going out of one's way to highlight every perceived bad move on the part of the police with all of the atrocities being committed by the rioters. Shrug.

I guess you could just replace bad cops, with bad protestors in this statement and it'd be the same? I think for a majority of what we have seen in the past few days, is that people are actively calling out these bad protestors. Something that really hasn't been done before.

I don't know, I won't call all cops pigs/murderers, just like I won't call all protestors, animals, jackals, thugs. I just hope whoever either abused their power or commits a criminal offense is treated appropriately.
