I don't think the 'for sure' is as slam dunk as you might think. There is a very bad trend lately of appeals courts deferring to qualified immunity for officers.

Have any of them even been arrested?

Do you think he comprehends the fact that the safe harbor provision of the CDA is what allows him to post objectively insane blather on the Twitterbox? Or if social media companies are exposed to liability for content on their platform they will have to be pretty aggro in cleaning out offending content and deleting serial offender accounts?

Basically if he can say what he wants but they lose their protection under the section he referenced they can get sued for libel. So they would maybe just ban him

I'm not entirely positive, but if he's the VPs chief of staff he would have some input right?

I think the conflict is more that he holds a position high enough that he could potentially pass information to people who make the decisions and have those decisions benefit his stock portfolio, I guess.

One of my facebook friends promoted an idea of a 2 for 1 deal on deaths. Take out two cops for every black person killed as a means of showing they mean business. Probably not the best option with police so heavily militarized I feel like...

I'm cool with Daniel Tosh's idea...all cops have to be black, all firefighters white. I don't know what to do...
