George Conway is just butthurt that he didn't get a job in the early part of the Trump presidency. If he wasn't married to Kellyanne no one would pay attention to him.

Two close congressional allies of President Trump underwent coronavirus testing in recent days in apparent defiance of federal recommendations reserving those tests for patients exhibiting symptoms of infection — and amid growing concerns about the availability of testing for Americans who are sick.

Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), the latter of whom Trump named last week as the next White House chief of staff, both said in statements that the tests showed no infection after exposure to a coronavirus carrier at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference last month in suburban Washington.

Considering who these guys have been exposed to, I can't imagine being critical of them getting tested after potential exposure, despite not exhibiting symptoms. I mean, if this carrier at CPAC was spreading the disease there, it could easily force Trump into confinement, cause all these dudes interacted with him.

If you are asymptomatic (ie it hasn't had time to replicate in your system), would the test even come back positive?

Right, there's a bunch of dolts like Conway that get outsized attention for their Trump criticism because they are Republicans. As far as I can tell, guys like him, Rick Wilson and Max Boot all simply have style issues with Trump and just don't want him being the face of the GOP.

This is actually disturbing. In the first half of this video, you can see the vacant expression in Biden's face. Anyone that has had a relative or friend with dementia knows what that expression is. Almost like the face is a mask with absolutely nothing behind it. Even his response "I don't know why Sanders is joining Trump" sounded barely lucid.

This is the face I am talking about. It's sad in a completely non-facetious way. Everything in his gait and the way he carries himself is indicative of some form of dementia. This isn't me playing doctor, it's plainly obvious to anyone.

Amazing that 30 years ago there were whispers about how *maybe* Reagan had the beginnings of Alzheimer's towards the very end of his time in office, and now we are close to electing someone that is as old as Reagan was AFTER he was already out of office, and appears to already have dementia. What a world.

Everything doesn't have to be measured against Trump. My wife's grandfather, whom I became very close with, had that same gait, empty expression, etc. over the last few years of his life due to dementia brought on by Parkinson's. It was heartbreaking to watch, and I honestly wish Biden could just get the care he needs. This campaign has to be literally sucking the life out of him and bringing whatever this is on far more quickly.

Would you say you were more concerned about Clinton's health in 2016, or Biden's right now?

I get your, "don't compare to Trump" discussion, but let's not act like this already hasn't been happening a thousand times over, and comparing one to the other is like trying to spot the difference between two turds.

Pretty sure the point of an election is to compare one to the other.

My point is that, when we are talking about the very obvious signs Biden is showing of senility, the immediate response doesn't have to be "but Trump is worse because he doesn't have an excuse!".

One can make the argument that this will be the most important VP pick in the history of American politics. Given the fact he doesn't have a great shot of completing two terms (let alone one), if he selects a progressive, I think a lot of Sanders supporters will gladly take that consolation prize.

I am not being facetious. I've never disliked Biden and I hold absolutely zero ill will towards the man. I know that genuinely being concerned about someone representing an opposite political view is laughed at in this thread, which is fine. Hillary has always been a shtty, manipulative person, so it's apples to oranges.

Biden is old as ****, and potentially sundowning.

It is fortunate for him that no level of cognitive impairment would put him at a disadvantage to Trump in that department.

Maybe we need to consider an upper age limit for running to president like we have a lower age limit.

Let's make both parties start all over again with different choices that aren't Sanders, Biden, and Trump.

Completely setting aside the Trump BS, I am a little inclined to believe that Hillary Clinton does have a degenerative neurological disorder. If I had to guess, it's either early-onset Parkinson's or (I hope it isn't) M.S. There are multiple pictures/videos of Ms. Clinton being helped to walk, etc...
Forgive me for not taking your medical analysis seriously. :slug:

ETA the slug. Didn't want it to come across insulting. It's just like I don't trust tif's Trump predictions anymore.
