The HVAC must've been broken inside the building that day, which means it was like two degrees inside. That is the only rational explanation for the balaclavas.
I’m pretty sure I own the same one as the guy on the left side of the picture. It cost $10 at kohls. I ususally wear it when it is 20 degrees or less and I’m walking the dog or something. Perhaps I’ll wear it the next time I go occupy a government building

It's also wrong on several layers.

There were 11 Confederate States.

One of them has a Democrat Senator, another has two.

That, is as you note, less than half.

If you add Kentucky and Missouri, plus WV's one GOP Senator you get 24.
It's stupid also because there are more than a dozen GOP Senators from states that were admitted post-War.

The poll left Pete and his 10-14% off, which kind of throws the whole thing out of whack

Mayor Pete wasn't a choice for the poll?

Sounds like Pete was left off a questionnaire, I don’t think we know at this point if this was beyond the one recipient or if it was systemic. Either way, the pollster didn’t know and. Scrapped the poll rather than release a potentially flawed poll.

The cognitive dissonance between De Blasio's rhetoric for the last several years and this tweet is something to behold. And he's getting called to the carpet for it in the replies

The only thing that witnesses could do is hurt the President in the general election
I think witnesses are more likely to hurt Biden, assuming Joe & Hunter would be called to testify.
We live in a sound bite world. It’s one thing to read all the stories about what Bolton knows and what other witnesses have said. It’s another to have it on camera, in a trial, with all the bells and whistles. Optics matter. There is definitely a path where testimony could have hurt Trump with that small group of voters on the fence. The question now is, will they be swayed by what is said on the shows when he’s interviewed.

As for Biden, I agree he’d have gotten damaged. I’d rather he’s not the nominee anyway though.

The lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania, John Fetterman, said the punishment was overly harsh and offered to personally repay the grocery store.

It will be funny to watch Sanders win the popular vote and Biden win the delegate count.

This could create a mess:
This year, the results of the Iowa caucuses will be reported differently. That could create confusion for readers, muddle the outcome and allow multiple candidates to claim victory.

The change has already created an additional challenge for news media organizations: how to project and characterize the outcome of a caucus that will now have four different results.

They designated March ARB out in Riverside as a quarantine site for around 200 evacuees. Which seems odd to me: Guys, let's take all these people who potentially have been exposed to a highly infectious disease and plop then into the largest population center in the country!

BANGKOK — The Ministry of Public Health on Sunday said they discovered medical treatment that rendered the new strain of coronavirus impotent in 48 hours.

The breakthrough discovery was made in the case of a 70-year-old Chinese woman who was admitted to a hospital in Thailand for pneumonia and excessive fluid in the lungs caused by the coronavirus, according to the ministry.

The unnamed woman had repeatedly tested positive for coronavirus for 10 days before doctors administered her with a combination of anti-HIV and flu treatment medication, Rajavithi Hospital lung physician Kriangsak Atipornwanich said at a news conference.

The patient then tested negative just 48 hours later, Kriangsak said, adding that the lab result was cross-examined and confirmed by Chulalongkorn Hospital and the Department of Medical Sciences.

The anti-HIV medicines used in the treatment were a cocktail of Ritonavir and Lopinavir, while the flu medication was identified as Oseltamivir.

BTW, In the US, Oseltamivir is sold as - you guessed it - TAMIFLU!!
He also warned that the method may not work in every case. Somsak said at least one patient under the government’s care responded negatively to doses of Oseltamivir, and physicians will continue to rely on the conventional treatment, which has also proven successful.

“But if the patient is under serious condition, we will adopt Rajavithi Hospital’s medication formula as an option of our treatment,” Somsak said. “We will continue to collect the data.”

Fox news on I'm front of me at the gym and no mention of the wrong tweet just the corrected one. Funny how that works.
